Why I Chose this Path
Hello there! Allow me to introduce myself: My name is Rebekah, I am extremely new to this platform, I am 18 years old, and instead of pursuing post-secondary education or a career, I packed up my life and got as far away from home as I could imagine—South East Asia. Like many young travelers, the area fascinated me with its beauty and culture, but I also had an easy inside to one of the most popular countries on the list of backpacker destinations: Thailand. I lived in Thailand last year for a whole month through an exchange program where I lived with a host family in the bustling city of Bangkok. It was an out-of-this-world experience, so when I decided to return, I made sure to make my second family's home a home base. By that I mean, I travel to different countries, but I always go back to Bangkok for about a week in between traveling to assure that I have enough money, clothes, and purely just to rest up for the next adventure! It's amazing to have not only the opportunity to travel, but also a home base to control my belongings and sanity at!

Solo Female Traveler
So, I just returned from a huge trip overseas to the Mediterranean for work. I'm a Filmographer/Photographer, and I recently landed an awesome gig for an indie film that took me all over Europe's southern coast. Greece, Spain, Monaco, Southern France, Morocco, Italy, I went to all these places. And mind you, I was on my own for a lot of the time when I wasn't working with my crew. There's a lot to think about when you're traveling, but going to all these different places with different types of people and cultures is ever MORE to think about!

Found in the Airport
Dean Martin’s rendition of “Volare” played on a loop in my head as we flew through the air. This was my first overseas flight, and as fearless as I was every anxiety I had multiplied in my gut. The once spirited tune morphed into a robotic, out-of-tune, gnarled, snare. I blinked in and out of sleep as my dreams became the contents of the “Vocabularo” book that was my husband’s as a child. He’d told me that it wasn’t really necessary to speak Italian fluently. On his last visit to Sardinia he’d spoken mainly French and some English (both of which I could speak/understand passably). My sweet father-in-law Antonio had tried to teach me a bit of Italian, but I was far too distracted by all the pre-trip tasks. I couldn’t retain much of the language while keeping an amply supplied packing list in my mind. Oh my mind—like a sieve—straining pasta.

8 Tips to Help You Save Money at Disney World
Welcome to Walt Disney World, the most magical place on earth—if you're not the one paying. Disney World's prices are on the rise, especially recently. Food costs have risen from between $5 to $10, ticket prices vary by the day now, hotel rooms are getting more costly by the minute, and you now have to pay parking every single night even if you are staying on site at a Disney resort.

New York: Day 2
Today I woke up feeling incredibly refreshed and ready for anything. We went out and found a diner—Juniors—for breakfast. I had an omelette with ham and hash potatoes and a cup of tea. It is very true that they give out big portions of food, but I got my money’s worth, as it cost $16. The food was lovely; the tea was not. Reminder to self: take a box of British tea bags next time I go to America.

Traveling Makes Us Happier, Not Marriage
A single life without marriage can increase your life expectancy. I want to encourage you to spend the rest of your life traveling rather than getting married. Consequently, I suggest that you can live better and longer by traveling around the world for the rest of your own life. Here are the reasons:

Overcoming the Fear of Moving
Whether you are moving out of your parents for the first time, within the state, or out of state this is a major change and it is very intimidating. If someone would have told me in the past that today I would be writing an informational/advice article on moving I and my whole family would have laughed in your face. Why so funny? When I was younger we moved about four times and every single time I built so much anxiety and resistance to change I would express it through vomiting. It was emotionally awful for me but disgusting for my poor mom that had endure my strange physical reaction to moving. Now that I am older in the last two years I have moved three times, two times within the state of Florida and one time out of state to North Carolina. By the way, in the last two years no vomiting meaning if you are like how I was there is hope for you!

Barton on Sea Remembers
Barton on Sea overlooks the English Channel. On very clear days the Isle of Wight stands proud and clear on the horizon. Even on dull days it can still be seen like a shadowy monster lying in wait to attack the mainland. France is far far away over the horizon. Even further away is India.
