Nature's Vitality
Eight years ago, I fell in love with the craft of telling stories through video. It’s amusing to reminisce on the elementary days, back when I used to shoot those cheesy lego stop motion films with the family quick shot camera. It’s equally interesting to reflect on how those creative projects have grown more complex over the years. I turned 20 this year, and consider myself very lucky to have found my passion in life at such a young age. There's some pretty strong conviction inside that I will continue to create videos for the rest of my life. The only variable in question is, what kind of stories will I tell?

Getting Lost in the Alpine. First Place in Outdoor Shots Challenge.
One of my favorite ways to get outdoors and get my body moving is to go out for a hike. Sometimes that may be a day hike, other times that may be a multi-day overnight hike. Whatever the case, there is always some exertion required, but it always pays off when you're out in nature.

Wish we could turn back time!
“Live with no excuses and travel with no regrets” ~ Oscar Wilde. 19th March, 2020. This was the day when I had laid my foot on the streets for the last time. Yes, it has been 4 months since I had seen the world outside my home. I don’t seem to remember a single day during this lockdown when I had not thought about how my life would have been had this entire corona virus fiasco not taken place. Trust me; it would have been quite eventful. But as it is, like many of you, I had to cancel all my travel plans for 2020.

Best Experience with Kayaking in the Musandam fjords in Oman
The days are punctuated by a lot of snorkeling because the water is warm, and the bottoms are interesting to look at only in mask and snorkel. Fish, rays, even blacktip sharks, turtles, dolphins ... Lots of animals to see 🙂 . Unfortunately, I don't like water too much, and I can't stand anything touching me water… Yes, I am contradictory, but kayaking is ON the water, not in the water! And Monsieur made a sled dog welcome when he doesn't like dogs 😀 What a couple! The water is a hostile place for me, and I did not swim very much. Also, in the beginning, there were types of non-stinging jellyfish: salps. Impossible to go in the water with that for me! But it was, I cooled off, and it was neat all the same.

Trip to the Farm x2
Playful dust bunnies rolled around on the floor under the sofa as I reached under and tried to trap them with my broom, when I heard the phone ring. This was in the eighties, so cordless phones were the new big thing. Not wireless, not cellular (a smart phone would have been seen as straight up magic) but cordless, meaning that they still had to be near their base to work and if the power went out they went with it. One of the cool things about them though, was that you could wander around and do things while you talked without pulling the ever-tangling, extra-long phone cord into the next room with you to drag things off tables and catch on your favorite lamp. (I still miss that lamp.) The freedom to move around unencumbered was great but, inevitably when the call was done you just laid the phone down where you were and continued with what you were doing when it pulled you away to answer it. Thus, the phone was anywhere but where you were the next time it rang.
