Alberta
So you have decided to visit Alberta. Good choice! Alberta is a province located in Canada next to British Columbia to the west, and Saskatchewan to the east. Like the above picture shows, Alberta has some amazing beauty to enjoy year round! If you are arriving by car, you will either end up in the city of Calgary, or the city of Edmonton. Either one is a great city to visit, with lively downtown bars, clubs, and shopping malls, along with beautiful walking trails. Of course, both cities also have world class golf courses as well. Many people will associate Calgary with the Calgary Stampede, which takes place every July. It is dubbed, "The Greatest Show on Earth!" There are so many different events to take in; bull riding, horse racing, rides, games and of course, the food! Who can forget the amazing selection of food! You will never go hungry here! People may also be familiar with Calgary being the host city for the 1988 Winter Olympics. Many of the venues are still in use today. Edmonton is known for the West Edmonton Mall which at one time, was considered the biggest mall in the world. They have an amazing waterpark, amusement park, ice rink, and a whole host of amazing stores to shop at! Edmonton also has great clubs, bars and restaurants to check out! Tired of the city? Looking for something amazing? Something different? Drive an hour east of Calgary, and you'll enjoy the stunning views and vistas of the Rocky Mountains.

Samsonite Road
From New Jersey to North Carolina, South Carolina to Georgia, Maryland to Florida. I strive in different areas and embrace different settings of time. From the different lingos to the rise of the sun in different areas of the city, it just seems like an addiction to me. To roam freely across every area within the world. Sort of like a Dr Suess story come to life, but my color is not green nor do I have a furry frame. I used to scoff at the thoughts of running to a train just to make it to my next destination, or getting jet lag during a two hour flight (such an amateur). But, the thrill of hearing transportation information, train engine exhaust, and a groggy self going to a gas station to get a gatorade and relieving myself after a few hours on the road seems like a habit in a blessing.

Disdained beauty, like an island of heaven in an ocean of hell! The chutzpah of Kashmir
Kashmir - the crown that sits atop India, is in a dire state and needs revival from its kind. With so much going on around the world, we seemed to have forgotten that life is still at a standstill in India’s newest Union Territory. Uncertainty is an everyday phenomenon for the locals; events like complete lockdown, internet shutdown, military interference, use of force, religious tensions, and fear of inexistence are part of everyday life.

The Vortex
If you’ve never been to Bali, I highly recommend you go there. By day the beach has its ways with your soul. The culture will make you feel as if you never existed. I'd eat the food off the back of a wet dog, the food is so delicious. By night Bali is a completely different story. If I was an alcoholic I’d move to Bali. If I wanted drugs daily, I’d move to Bali. If I wanted to get laid daily... well you get it. Parties, raves and sex. I was currently at the biggest nightclub in Bali that night. I never thought of my life as a movie, but ever since I joined the family, it truly has felt like one. All eyes on me, someone famous once said. Everyone was going to see me get incredibly hammered until I died of inability to breathe. What a way to go out. Death by alcohol. Unfortunately I couldn't die here in Bali, my family couldn't handle that shit. That or they'd have a party. Instead of overdrinking I decided to go find Dylan. Dylan was my brother. Not my biological brother but that didn’t make a difference. He was no slouch either, star football defensive end in high school. He would've gone D1 but he was expelled for beating the life out of this kid for talking about my mom. My mom died of cancer a while ago, she was the light in the darkness truly. She could put a smile on anyone. She really was very talented and at the same time the most humble person I knew. She was a math wiz as well. I keep a picture of her in my wallet to this day. I wouldn't want anyone to have to lose their mother. Dill felt the same, that's why he was one of my best friends despite our differences. I knew he'd have my back through thick and thin. And when times get rough, when times get good, I also knew I’d have my bros back. In this case he was probably yelling Yolo out the window of a limo, but it was up to me to ruin his high and get him home.

Do You Need to Learn Spanish When Visiting or Moving to Costa Rica?
When I first visited Costa Rica in November of 2002, I didn't know any Spanish at all. Well, maybe, "Como estas?", and "Hola!". . but that was it. I look back and I remember that I didn't have too much trouble at all navigating by myself in a foreign country, 1.132 miles from my home in South Florida. I found, to my surprise, that many ticos here knew enough English to understand what I had to say. I have some Italian in my blood from my mom's side of the family and it was very easy for me to talk with my hands, which, as you know, is an international language!
