Islet Of The Ibis
On the ancient sandy shore of the island paradise in Aswan, Egypt, a father and son explore the grounds of a botanical garden. Royal Palm Tree groves reaching up to clear blue skies and exotic flowering plants imported from India and Africa, peacefully sway to the warm summer breeze blowing off the Nile River. Rays of sunshine beaming through the palm leaves spotlight the brilliant foliage, enhancing the colors and glistening dew of every flower it reaches. In the distance, Egyptian Egrets and Ground Geese can be heard squawking at the fisherman returning to the Warf on Felucca vessels with their day’s catch.

Road Ram-blings

Descriptions of the signs’ traits appear in many places: online; in quirky metaphysical shops where you can buy incense and Wiccan tools; head shops; any given greeting card aisle. Ever found one in a beer bottle cap? I have. Am I a believer? Well, I’m not, NOT a believer. I don’t live and die by a horoscope, but I do admit to being a “leap before I look” and “get out of my way and follow me” kind of gal.

Mussel Strong
I have been a mussel driver for better than twenty years. I have had modest wild pearl finds in the Tennessee side of the Kentucky Lake. I keep track of my dives in a little black book. This book has been invaluable in helping me analyze where and when I had the best dives. My black book is integral to my mussel diving business.
