The traveling notebook
Today was the same as every Tuesday. Rachel switched on her lamp at 5:30 am and staggered across the room to silence the siren blaring from her phone. She had already been laying there for an hour so that incessant barking from her phone was unnecessary. It was still dark outside and she saw her outfit laid out in the light of the lamp. All black. She put her hair in braids to avoid another customer complaint about a strand of long blonde hair in their food. It had been falling out ever since she quit taking birth control pills when her relationship ended. Hormones.

The Golden Room
During mediation in our garden sunroom today I felt a surge of energy rise up my spine. It was as if some internal spark had been ignited; Of course I know what to do. I’ve spent so long in domestic role play I’ve forgotten my free spirit. It’s time for a vacation. During supper I opened up to Harry about my current feelings. I explained to him that if I didn’t break free soon I’d break indefinitely. Before I could finish my thought he nodded; “Sweetheart, I’ve wanted to send you away for sometime, I just didn’t want you to take offense since you’ve been so wrapped up in supporting us. Where would you like to go?” I sunk into the wing back dinning chair as my mind siphoned through its premarital adventures. Harry continued with aurora and Dev. Sometimes it amazes me how a man can be so good to his family.

Moleskine Memories
It was at the back of her grandmother’s closet that she found the old cedar chest. The rusty, iron hinges looked Medieval though they were probably made in Pittsburgh in the 1800’s. She opened the heavy lid which made a terrible squeal. There were compartments inside, decorated with pretty, patterned paper, and in the top section was the usual accumulation of memories: handmade baby clothes with crocheted lace; a stuffed bear with one missing eye; a broken Hummel; black and white family pictures that never made it into the many albums she would find underneath; and a little, black book -- a Moleskine journal, its pages filled with her tiny, immaculate cursive.

Ancient North America’s sites.
((Ancient North America’s ) The North America’s, when most think of this land we think of the Native American’s and the European take over 500 plus years ago. But the north America’s region has a lot of ancient sites, archeological sites, which date back to even before the ancient Egyptians and Greek. After the end of the ice age we have a somewhat lost history of the north America’s. But we have been finding ancient archaeological sites dating 10’s of thousand of years old.

Rightful Owner
“What a day!” Marguerite thought as she plopped herself down on the blanket in the middle of the park and gazed at the rapidly changing colors of the dusk skies. A child’s humming voice in the distance prompted her to turn her head and look to the left.

Impression
The black leather was old and warn, now having the look of scales more than the bright shine it would have had when new. The lines created from the moisture being sucked out of it resembled the land in a desert that hasn’t seen rain in years. Slowly Nick ran his hand back and forth over the black cover as he stared deeply into the layers of age. This notebook had been in his family for generations and with the unexpected passing of his father it was now his. The leather notebook itself was a family heirloom. It was one of the few possessions his great grandfather had brought with him from Italy through Ellis Island in the early 1900’s. He had been able to bring a few select items and this deep black notebook, and the papers within, were seen as valuable enough to make the journey.

The ancestors girl
On a prosperous night in the sky above the scared sea, a mysterious event had taken place. The sky was glowing like never before as if it had been possessed by luminescence. Auroras presented themselves as an everlasting effect of the evenings sun. Just when the sky couldn’t seem to appear any more magnificent, a rainbow appeared and a wave of stardust gracefully fell from an opening in the sky down to the sacred sea. A beautiful exchange had taken place.

Lost Treasure
The sun beat down upon the sand in glorious rays of golden heat, and Cassandra would have enjoyed the spectacular view of the white beach and blue ocean waves if her mouth didn’t feel like sandpaper and her skull wasn’t splitting with an excruciating headache.
