We, Women. Top Story - December 2021.
Friday, 11:43pm We stumble out of bars, laughing. The bouncers tossing us out glare at us until we stumble down to the streets. We try to gain composure momentarily. Once the doors slam shut, however, we flip off the bars and burst out laughing once again. Tears streaming down our faces, we tell one another not to jump up onto the stages next time.

Goodbye Relationship Gender Roles
I was talking to someone not too long ago, and I mentioned how my ex loved drama, and how he felt like if there was no drama in the relationship something was wrong even if nothing was. He needed that to fuel his very fiery nature. He was a very passionate person, and if there was no drama, he didn’t feel that passion. They turned to me and said those words that I think are completely ridiculous. They said “That’s not normally a man thing. That’s usually a woman thing.” This is completely inaccurate. In my 38 years on this planet, one thing that I have learned is that men have the same disposition as women when it comes to relationships.

Diabetes & Blood Sugar Support Bruno Graizzaro weighed 298 pounds in 2017 and identified himself as a "big eater." "I was so buried in bad eating that I had no choice but to rely on the medications to keep my blood sugar in check," he adds.

Erasing Black Girlhood
Black girls aren’t receiving equal love or support from society as white girls of the same age. Society tends to have bad views or ideas on black, such as black girls don’t need as much nurturing, that we know more about sex or adult topics, that we don’t need as much love, we need less support, less protection, and are more independent. None of these are true, black girls need the same amount of love, support, protection, and nurturing as all other races. We aren’t more independent, and we don’t know more about sex or adult topics than any other races. The problem gets even worse when people in a power position have these views.

Never Underestimate the Power of a Woman’s Voice.. Top Story - December 2021.
What makes a woman’s voice sound empowered and less like a typical “Karen” wanting to speak with the manager? I’ve been getting in trouble lately with my teenage son for emailing his teachers and administrators, even his basketball coach and director for things I am noticing that don’t sit well with me.

PMDD: The Horror
The Horrors of PMDD When I first learned about PMDD, which stands for premenstrual dysphoric disorder, it was introduced to me in a pharmaceutical commercial. I honestly thought that they either created this as a made up disorder or a heightened version of PMS to sell their drugs. Also, when I first learned what PMS was, it was by a girlfriend at camp who told me it gives you cramps and lowers your mood right before you get your menstrual cycle. I honestly was not worried and I thought it would never affect me like it was some rare thing. What I didn’t know was that I would be rudely awakened by the strongest affects of PMDD symptoms.
