As we wind down the summer, we're happy to bring you another "Hottest Bods of Summer '24" installment, celebrating body positivity and excellence by women. This time around we celebrate athletes as usual but we also include a digital content creator and a former athlete who is now making moves as a rap artist.

In entertainment, the thing called "It Factor" is often talked about. Nobody can really tell you what "It" actually is, but for some reason we all understand what "It" is. Karimah Davis has "It." When Davis steps on the track to sprint, she draws your attention and turns heads. The star with long limbs that stands at five-foot-10 has charisma and is a winner. Davis was an NCAA record holder in the 1,600-meter relay when she and her teammates won the 2022 SEC outdoor gold in 3:21.93. Two meets later she and her Kentucky 1600-meter relay squad became NCAA champs. In 2023, Davis earned First-Team All-America honors in the 400-meter relay and 1,600-meter relay for the second straight year. She also upgraded from Second-Team to First-Team honors in the open 200 meters during that season.

Chastity Pickett

Chastity Pickett is one of the top Cinderella Stories of the NCAA in track and field. Usually that term is used during basketball season, when an underdog gains an unexpected win against a heavily favored team. In 2023, Pickett of Campbell University, a mid-major university, not only qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 400-meter hurdles, she made it to the final round. Many people in her position, would be happy just to be among the final nine women competing for the season, not Pickett. As she lined up against hurdlers from Michigan, Kentucky, LSU, Arkansas and other major programs, Pickett recorded a top three finish and scored a bronze medal. In 2024, Pickett earned her second straight 400-meter hurdles Big South Conference gold medal. Unfortunately, her glass slipper broke at the east regional as the Albany, Georgia native suffered an injury that prevented her from getting back to the NCAA Championships. Fans of the sport will be checking for her to get back to the big meet in 2025.

Yan

When so many people complain about how hard it is to build an organic social media following, yes it is difficult, Yan shows all influencers that it is very possible. Once upon a time she was a rapper, now Yan is a highly educated fitness, fashion and motivational digital creator who currently has over 105,000 followers on Instagram and 123,500 on TikTok. She's had Instagram posts that have topped 1.3 million views and 800,000 views. On TikTok her two highest posts has reached over 1.6 million and one million views.

Toosie

While the previous woman used to rap, Toosie currently does after a very accomplished track and field career that had stops at Michigan State and Georgia. Then known by her government name Asya Reynolds, she was a Second-Team All-American and Big Ten champion heptathlon competitor in 2019. Two years later she earned First-Team All American honors while taking the bronze in the heptathlon in the SEC. These days she's simply known as Toosie while working just as hard as she did as an athlete to build a respected career in hip-hop. She dropped her most recent song, entitled "Bad Habit" featuring Krissy2Cheeks, on Spotify last month.
