Did Kansas City make the right move?
Now don’t take this the wrong way, I think that Patrick Mahomes is one of the best quarterbacks in the game today. He has shown that time and again, hell he didn’t even let being down 24-0 in the Wildcard round of the playoffs stop him. I’m talking about this from a logistical standpoint for the Kansas City Chiefs. Mahomes 10 year extension for $503 million with $447 million guaranteed. While those numbers are insane, why does Mahomes deserve that much of the money? First let’s look at Mahomes stats over the past two years that he has played.

It's Time For the 'Washington Redskins' to Change Their Name
I am once again calling for the NFL team that represents Washington D.C. to change their names, as their current nickname is hateful and insulting to the Native American Community. According to Esquire, the term for ‘redskin’ is "The scalped head of a Native American that is sold for cash.” This epithet has been commonplace since 1755 in the Phips Proclamation which called for bounties on Native Indians near Maine. Today, we do not realize the disgusting history of the bounty placed on their lives for which 'redskin' was first coined. Native groups have been calling for a change for decades & it is time to finally comply.

Case Plays 4/27 - 5/1
This week we focused on calls that involve a certain level of judgment and application of philosophy. The simple answer is always I need to see this to rule on it, but part of the fun with plays like these is going down all of the rabbit holes. I highly recommend going through these plays with your crew or a group of officials to get a different perspective.

Andy Dalton signs with the Dallas Cowboys
On Saturday, recently released quarterback Andy Dalton signed a one year deal with the Dallas Cowboys reportedly worth $7 million, according to Adam Schefter. Dallas is in need of a back up that could step in right away and Dalton would be a great fit. This also prevents the New England Patriots from getting a starting quarterback.

Grading every NFL team’s 2020 draft
Arizona Cardinals Arizona stacked the box, picking up a plethora of different defensive talents starting with outside linebacker Isaiah Simmons out of Clemson University. The Cardinals ranked dead last in almost every defensive category, especially in yards allowed per game, allowing 415.2 yards per game. They also added an extremely elusive Eno Benjamin out of Arizona State to replace David Johnson, a running back with considerable upside in the passing game and yards after contact.
