Fighter or Finished?
It's been a busy week in the world of Phillip Jack Brooks, better known to the outside world as CM Punk. On Tuesday came a long-awaited end to the libel and slander trial brought by WWE ringside physician Chris Amann against Punk and longtime friend Colt Cabana. A jury ruled in Punk and Cabana's favour in a case where Dr. Amann was looking for over $3 million dollars in damages.

WWE News: Daniel Bryan Requesting "Reasonable Creative Control" In New Contract Agreement
Back in the WCW/NWO and WWE (WWF) days, there were way too many hands involved in writing and booking. A lot of which were the wrestlers, all looking out for their own interests. Hulk Hogan, would straight up refuse to work with certain individuals, refuse to lose to others. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall of the NWO basically did whatever they thought was in their interests. Even guys like Shawn Michaels, and Bret Hart... even everyone's beloved Dwayne Johnson. They say in the industry that there are a few people who get star treatment and are given that pull behind the scenes. If you make a lot of money for the company, and you are well liked by your superiors. Then you have pull. Some people, and a lot of people, used that to their advantage.

Are You a Fan of WWE?
I started watching WWE when I was six years old. I saw Chris Jericho arrive to WWE in year 2000, saw him win against Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock to become the Undisputed Champion. I saw Triple H destroy Shawn Michael after the DX era. Evolution with Thiple H, Randy Orton, Batista and "WOOOOOOOO" Ric Flair? So many good memories of me, sitting beside my dad's side and watching wrestling in "AWE."

WWE News; Is the Return of Bobby Lashley Being Mishandled?
Nothing is worse than going to a comedy club and seeing someone bomb their set. Getting nothing but awkward silences and the ominous blank stare from their crowd is any performer's worst fear. This one has especially left the WWE Universe with no real reactions except for a partial cheer at the end, most likely because it was finally over. Bobby Lashley is still in the early stages of his comeback. His Raw debut was not that long ago. However, it seems that the WWE has already done more damage than good with how they are portraying Bobby Lashley as a "softie nice guy" who loves his sisters and is very soft spoken, not a very overbearing personality if one was to compare him to Brock Lesnar (whom he has been compared to before due to the road his career took with Amateur Wrestling, MMA and Pro Wrestling).

WWE News
Having both headlined Wrestlemania together since 2015, fans are losing interest in the idea that Reigns will eventually become champion. After it not happening at Wrestlemania 34, in a rushed, last minute change of the storyline, with Lesnar re-signing with the WWE for an unreported amount of time, the “grandest stage of them all” told us that this feud was not quite over yet to most fans surprise. It was wildly spread that the plan, which had been the plan for the better part of a year, was that Reigns would win that match with Lesnar, making him The WWE Universal Champion. However, the beast Brock Lesnar left WM34 still the champ.

Sunday Morning Matchmaker
Last night, the UFC returned to Atlantic City, New Jersey for the first time since 2014 for UFC Fight Night: Barboza vs Lee. Despite a couple of fights falling apart at the last minute, the card was everything I had hoped it would be. There is a lot to talk about, but I would really like to focus on the Main and Co-Main events and what the outcomes of those bouts mean for the competitors involved as well as their respective divisions.

Wrestling, Why Wrestling?
Wrestling, the sport everyone looks at as dangerous, risky, time-consuming, and injury-inducing. I wrestle at J.M. Hanks High School. I am the varsity 132. This was my first year wrestling varsity and let me tell you it had its ups and downs.
