'27-0 vs 50-0.' Khabib Calls out Mayweather! But Why...?
Fresh from outclassing Conor McGregor and then almost causing a full scale riot within the T-Mobile Arena at UFC 229, seemingly fearless Khabib Nurmagomedov has now turned his attention to undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather, challenging the 41 year old to a boxing bout. With both men undefeated in their respective sports, Khabib clearly feels he has the skills to topple one of Boxing's greatest, a feat McGregor failed to accomplish in his multi-million pound attempt in August of 2017.

A Fighter's Fight
Sebastian coughed a bit with the smoke in his face. He turned his head and spit out some blood that had gathered in his mouth. He was racking his brain on who was sitting near her and remembered the man that seemed slightly uncomfortable with his victory. The man with what had appeared to be a black toupee, cheap tan pinstripe suit and penny loafers. He looked back at the woman he now knew as Trinity and back toward the doors to his venue. The same man was now walking down the steps toward them. Over the raucous noise that the crowd was making, he heard the man speak to her.

What a great time to begin this blog! This weekend we will see the biggest fight in UFC, and possibly MMA history, as "The Notorious" Conor McGregor faces Khabib Nurmagomedov for the Russian's Lightweight Championship. Before this, there is a full card with Tony Ferguson and Anthony Pettis as the co-main event, and both men are ready to jump in should Khabib or Conor not be able to fight. While these lightweight battles are undoubtedly the focus of the weekend, there is a strong undercard on deck as the buzz intensifies for the main event.

What Is WWE Doing with AJ Styles?
AJ Styles is the best wrestler in all of WWE right now. It's a statement I can't imagine many fans of the WWE would have much of an argument against and with a flashy move set and great skills on the mic it's not hard to see why so many of the WWE universe are behind him. Sure some may point that finger at Daniel Bryan, NXT viewers may say Tommaso Ciampa or Johnny Gargano, and fans more in touch with the indies may say Finn Balor, wrestling fans love to argue but at the end of the day I imagine if not the number one AJ features in everyones top five at least.

The Wit Offensive of Muhammad Ali
The typical white alpha male can strut, peacock, and demonstrate his sense of superiority over lesser men with ease. The black alpha male—even in today’s society—cannot. The legacy of racism, of racial inequality and stereotypes, still plays a significant part in how confident black males are perceived. And so what is readily seen as an authentic sense of selfhood emanating from a white alpha male will only too often be interpreted as aggression and threat when displayed by a black male. As a result, beyond the world of on-screen characters played by the likes of Will Smith and Idris Elba, the black alpha male relies on different qualities to communicate his superior status, one of which is wit.

Empower Yourself with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

What's Next for Anthony Joshua?
In front of a packed Wembley Stadium, Anthony Joshua went on collect his 22nd victory Saturday night with a 7th round knockout of the stouthearted Russian, Alexander Povetkin. Joshua now holds an impressive 22-0 record, with 21 of those victories coming by way of knockout. Joshua encountered, perhaps unexpectedly, a great deal of pressure from Povetkin in the early rounds of the fight, but settled down and found his jab by round 4. AJ was then able to hurt Povetkin with a big right hand, leading to a stoppage shortly after.

Boxing's Biggest Opportunity
All boxing fans recognize that the sport has very obvious problems. The sport is plagued by bad judging, complicated negotiations, and alphabet belts that change hands frequently, and sometimes without even a fight. Wading through hyped fights and mandatory challengers, and with broadcasts being infrequent and mediocre at best it is tough to draw new fans. Then factor in the competition from MMA, which seems to always be on some channel.
