Frank Goodberry
Frank Goodberry sighs loudly and throws another crunched up piece of paper into the wastepaper bin that sits against the wall, between his filing cabinet and his liquor cabinet. The liquor cabinet sees an awful lot more use than the filing cabinet does, that's for sure. There's very little inside that filing cabinet, as early into his career Frank Goodberry decided he probably didn't need to file that much stuff, so he wouldn't bother. It's a bit of a waste of space, to be honest, but his wife insisted he get one. It's been seven years since he had an actual job, a real tangible job, the kind of job that government officials are always trying to tout the numbers of. The kind of job where you get a regular pay check in return for providing some kind of service, such as working in a shop or filling things with concrete. Frank Goodberry hasn't had one of those jobs for seven years. For the last seven years he has been trying to make it on his own, trying to become self employed, self reliable, self something else. Working for the man no longer interests him, he's had enough of 'the Man', whoever that is. Unfortunately for Frank Goodberry, he's not had a great time of earning money without the interference of 'the Man'.

Understanding Students
In today's society, a student is considered, by some, nothing more than a young adult trying to elongate the idea of childhood by staying in education and avoiding as much responsibility as they can. Wrong! I, myself, am a student, and most of us students are trying harder than most adults have to nowadays. Go to lectures, get a job, look after yourself, eat properly, and my personal favorite, stop going out so much. We've all been told throughout school that going to university will help make us more employable. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's true, but I will let you know when I get the job I spent three years and a heck of a lot of money working for. Currently, I don't really have a job, and the opportunities are so bountiful. I mean I get the amazing choice of where I want to do bar work if it ever takes my fancy. Lucky me.

Helping Your Special Needs Child
If your child has special needs then there are many ways to help them learn, on top of what their school will do. This applies whether it’s a mainstream school, a special school, or a combination of teaching methods. The school will appreciate any help it can have, as will your child. My kids both have special needs to I speak from experience, I also volunteered at their special schools. All too often parents and carers left the education to the schools and did little or nothing themselves for their children.

Before I graduated college, I had no idea what I was going to do with my life. I only figured out my next steps the Wednesday before graduation which was the following Saturday. That Wednesday was the day that I received the job offer. A job offer with a salary much lower than I was expecting but in the field I had and have a passion for. You do not do counseling for the money, but that is a story for another time.
