US Deploys Sub and Aircraft Carrier.
Israel On High Alert.

Since the death of a Hezbollah commander and a Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Israel has been expecting a massive revenge attack either from Hezbollah or Iran or both. With that in mind, the US has (as usual) committed to defend Israel. The US has deployed a nuclear sub to the area and an aircraft carrier with attendant vessels is also steaming to the area.
Iran has threatened revenge and says its forces are in drills. That is Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps or IRGC and Iran's conventional forces. It's been a week or so since Iran threatened Israel with counter-strikes. So, either Iran with its proxies is planning something big or it is all hype. In the Middle East, it's all about who is the strongest on the block. If Iran does not take action then it will look weak. The Iranians are not foolish, if they do attack Israel it may be coordinated and limited. They also know Israel may hit back and backing Israel is the US. So it would seem the Iranians are taking this slowly weighing up their options.
Sir Keir Starmer has telephoned the new Iranian President to ask him or warn him not to attack Israel. The Middle East is on a knife edge as all sides are on alert. Netanyahu is a rogue leader and is not afraid to strike any of his enemies. Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis have all felt his vengeance. Netanyahu knows he has the US by the balls, like an attack dog on a leash. No matter what the US administration may say about Israel's tactics in Gaza or elsewhere, the US has Israel's back. Netanyahu went to Washington and made a speech to US politicians. He was applauded to the rafters. Only one American politician sat down and did not applaud Netanyahu's every word. A female Palestinian-American held up an anti-Netanyahu placard. Biden has been a bulwark for Israel and is an admitted Zionist. Kamala Harris has spoken out against Israel and said if she is elected, she would have a different approach to Israel. Nevertheless, she too would protect Israel if it came to the crunch. And if Trump gets in, we all know that the former President also has Israel's back. Trump and Netanyahu are good friends and nothing will break that.
An Iranian commander has said Iran is holding military drills to be ready. Ready for what exactly? Is it just a coincidence that Iran is holding military drills at the same time the US is deploying forces at sea? Could this all be a ruse from all sides as a show of strength? Both Israel and Iran have indicated they do not want a wider full-scale war. I'm sure the Biden administration in its dying days does not want another war in the Middle East. However, as I have said, as the US is Israel's backer, the US will have no choice but to back the Jewish state should a larger conflict occur. And what about the UK? Will the UK join the US in any military action against Iran and its agents? Or will Starmer learn from his Labour predecessor Blair and not go 'gung ho' into a war?
If the US gets involved on Israel's side what will Russia, China, or North Korea do? They have Iran's back too, some more than others. Would Russia step in, Would China step in, etc? Would that step in be a direct military intervention or just helping with weapons supply?
The US and UK are in a manner already on Israel's side and have taken action against Israel's enemies. The US attacked Iran-backed militias in Iraq and Syria for those groups striking them. The US and UK hitting the Houthis for their attacks on Israel-bound or related vessels. All sides in this conflict need to be careful what they do as one wrong or uncalculated move could unleash hell.
