Trump: Vast Changes Afoot!

Trump's Take Down of Biden's Migrants Policies.

Trump The Big Bad Wolf?

No doubt as many Native Americans see Trump complaining about illegal migrants, they understand what he is on about. They faced from day 1 Europeans pouring in and taking their land. Taking their resources and using them for themselves. Native Americans suffered in various ways and were punished when they fought back eventually becoming strangers in their own country. Native Americans today are still very much part of the US. They can be found in all professions. Some live on reservations (reservations in their own land!), some live in towns and cities, etc. Native Americans have increased their population over the last 10 years or so. Sadly, many still live in poverty, joblessness, alcoholism, drug addiction, etc. However, they are still here in American society in one form or another. However, when you look at American media, TV shows, radio, movies, and social media you'd think they were extinct!

Trump made illegal migration and immigration one of the main planks of his campaign. True to his form his administration has set to work on Biden's policies on the above. So what's happening in the new "Golden Age of America" (in Trump's words) with this topic?

Well, the new administration has changed the country's immigration system overnight. In American cities and across the southern border these changes are being felt. On Biden's patrol app to deter migrants crossing illegally their appointments were cancelled. Thousands of would-be hopefuls for these appointments have had them stopped indefinitely.

Police, immigration officials, etc, can now enter buildings where illegals are seeking sanctuary. Nothing is off limits, even places of worship, schools, people's homes, community centres. Illegals can be arrested and taken into custody probably to be deported. Even babies born to illegals can have their citizenship to the US revoked. Of course, there will be legal challenges but that is to be expected.

Trump will not have it all his way. He will face monetary challenges in bringing some of his changes to bear. As mentioned above, legal challenges. However, Trump and his team have had 4 years to study all this. The first time around his policies were ad-hoc, flimsy, and made on the hoof. Now he is better able to challenge all those who oppose him whether on the funding front, political front, or the whims of the Democrats.

Trump has also set his minions to work vetting countries where migrants could be a threat to the US. Countries like Russia, Iran, North Korea, and China will be on the radar. So it is understandable why his administration would do that.

A website set up by the Biden administration for humanitarian reasons to allow people into the US has been shut down. Many of these coming to the US on humanitarian grounds were from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. So if you are from these countries and go to this website you will find a blackened screen.

So is Trump listening to the people on issues of illegal migration? Yes, without a doubt he is radically tackling these issues. Many Americans gave Trump their vote to get cracking on these issues. So, he has hit the ground running in radically altering the American migration and immigration system. However, people who have a right to be in the US will feel deeply troubled. Troubled that their ethnicity, religion, or nationality will make them targets. Targets for racists and far-right groups that think they can operate freely thanks to Trump. People with leave to stay in the US or those granted US citizenship could be wrongly swept up by officials.

Immigration and migration is always a tricky thing. You want to deal with the concerns of people over these issues but at the same time, remain humanitarian.
