Donald Trump seems to be revving his engine to have another run at the White House. He hopes and there does seem to be massive support out there for him, to serve another four years as the Nation's President. It seems the more Trump is hounded or more revelations come to the fore, good or bad, his supporters are standing with him.

What is it that Trump stands for that many Americans like? Probably, his don't care attitude about what he says and does. His anti-woke agenda attract people to his cause, however, rotten to the core, he might or not be. It seems his followers are prepared to overlook any misdemeanours this multi-millionaire/billionaire man has done.

Trump from the outset before and after entering politics, was a maverick. Like Marmite, his is a flavour you either love or hate. Trump boasted of a close relationship with Vlad 'The Invader. Mr. Trump boasted that if he were in power now, the Ukraine War would be over. He attacked and killed a top Iranian Commander allegedly linked to acts of terror. He had good relations with Kim Jong-un and there were talks between the two leaders that echoed those of the 80s with Reagan and Gorbachev.

Trump's supporters are not only European-Americans though they probably make up the biggest support base. Trump has Black, Hispanic, and some Native American support too. His supporters are mostly on the right and on the Evangelical Christian Israel-supporting lobby. Whatever you think of this 'Tango' faced man during his time in the White House the US or the world has never seen anything like him.

Trump's run to the White House and his nomination to be the Republican candidate seems assured. Unless someone like Florida Governor Ron De Santis trumps Trump (no pun intended) to be the Republican candidate to face Joe Biden.

The 40 or so charges Trump is facing plus others recently added might stop him in his tracks. Trump could face 40 years in prison in which case he would be long dead. With his business and political career being well and truly dead with him.

Donald Trump allegedly asked a member of his staff at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida to destroy camera evidence. To thwart, it is alleged, a team of federal investigators looking into the misdemeanours of the former President. Obviously, Trump will be employing the best attornies money can buy. So one would expect, Trump, to be exonerated of all his alleged wrongdoing. Two of Trump's staff are also facing charges of conspiring with the ex-Presient.

Trump has called these allegations of the prosecutor "deranged". Trump always complains of a 'witch-hunt' against him. And some would say "Well he would say that wouldn't he"? Trump sets himself up as the Champion of the little person fighting their corner. He is currently setting himself to be a martyr to the system because he dared to challenge it. To Trump and his following these wrongdoings were allegedly imagined or real by his opponents to get him out of the way. That's why the ex-President is indeed a martyr to his 'MAGA' cause. It makes him attractive to those that see themselves as powerless in the face of big government. Whether Trump told people to stage the January insurrection will forever be debated.

Trump's supporters or even those of no support can see the hypocrisy of it all though. Biden is also accused of wrongdoing along with his Son Hunter. So it is reasonable to ask why is Trump (love him or hate him) is being investigated and not Biden. Politicians whether of the right or left are human beings. Prone to corruption and wrongdoing, however, well-meaning or not they might be. That, however, does not excuse their misdemeanours while in office. As so-called servants of the people, they should know better but they don't.
