Trump and Biden: Round 2?

Are two old men with baggage the best the US can produce? The best that the US can produce to be President? Trump or Biden will also be the leader of the free world. To have either man given their age in the White House is worrying for many. However, as long as either man is not senile why should age be a barrier to power?

Trump and his MAGA supporters (Make America Great Again) are ramping up his bid to run for President again. However, Trump may face opposition from one-time friend Ron De Santis. De Santis has been described as another Hitler or Ghengis Khan for being extremely on the right on some things.

Many worry that if Biden becomes POTUS (President Of The United States) that his mental state may make him incapable of being President. Or if he dies in office that would make Karmala Harris President. Some say Ms. Harris keeps too low a profile. Making her in some people's view not fit for the Office of President. Others say that Biden will not get rid of Biden because she is female. If she came to power she would be America's First Woman President. Others say that Biden is obsessed with having Black women in office. Thus, Biden will not get rid of her on those grounds either (Though in reality like Obama, Harris is mixed race). Whether he really wants black women in power or is just playing up to the BLM/far-left populace remains unknown. In the past, Biden has shown himself to be right-wing in the past, not unlike his Republican rival Trump. Biden like Trump isn't exactly whiter than white when it comes to certain matters.

Many Republicans and Democrats think both men are too old for the job. Biden's approval rating is low but for some Democrats, he could still beat Trump in 2024. Some see it as a choice of lesser evils, Biden isn't perfect but he isn't Trump either.

According to an IPSOS/MORI Poll Biden has 43% of support while Trump is lagging behind by 38%. Biden will be 80 when he runs for President and Trump will be 77. The thought of Biden and Trump 2 sounds like a movie. As if it were Godzilla v Kong 2. Which one is which I will leave that up to the reader to decide.

Biden said the first time he ran for President was because it was a battle for "the soul of America". Now with his declaring his candidacy for President a second time round Biden declared I want to "finish the job". Biden says he wants to protect American freedoms. Something he says Trump and the Republicans would undermine or get rid of. Of course, Trump will likewise be taking aim at Biden or 'Sleepy Joe' as he calls him.

Trump's first time in power was controversial. Trump was popular amongst the so-called right-wing Zionist supporting Christian community. Trump was heavily pro-Israel. His daughter was married to a Jew and both worked in Trump's cabinet. Trump was and is close to right-wing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump moved the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Biden has not changed that. Trump was a climate change sceptic. Trump replaced Obama care with Trump care. Trump was accused of being racist and misogynist. Although many Women and Blacks, Native Americans, etc, did support him. We all know how Trump's time in office came to an end so I won't bore you with the details. It's possible Trump could return to the White House but it will be over Biden's dead body.

Biden's time in office has been relatively uneventful. Of course, his main criticism was that he was losing his mind. He couldn't string one sentence together given his age and possible mental health. He was made fun of when he fell down or up the steps of a waiting plane. He was attacked for the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan. Likend to the US Pullout from Vietnam in 1975. Biden has been supplying (like other nations) weapons to Ukraine in its fight with Russia. Biden is also accused of being more pro-Irish and interfering in Northern Ireland (UK territory). Biden is also of English ancestry. Biden like Trump was/is being investigated for possible acts of corruption.

This US election for President next year will determine not only the future of the US. It will also determine the future of the world including America's enemies for the next 4 years.
