Millennials Are Financially Screwed Over
Millennials are the largest and most diverse generation to exist. The creators of Facebook, Snapchat and any social media website that exists were created by millennials. With all this innovation and creativity from the largest and most diverse generation, we were screwed over. How my generation was screwed over, is due to creating bad economic policies and continuing to debate the same old economic issues which should have been solved long ago. An example of the same old economic issues is raising the minimum wage, we can see it’s way past time for America to have a livable wage where the people can afford the basic necessities to live and Millennials should not be under-employed make less than Baby Boomers and previous generations. Recap: in a previous article, I discussed how America is losing progress because we failed to learn from history, specifically the 1912 and 1940 elections. These two elections have a common theme with the 2016 elections, and that is Theodore Roosevelt, Henry Wallace and Bernie Sanders all understood the future, these men who received all the support from the people-coughs, but was undermined by the establishment are the people we need running for office and running our government. Millennials were screwed over because the previous generations did not understand the future and they still do not understand the future.

It's Not Our Fault, and It Never Is....
Another day, another excuse. This is the ongoing trend regarding the current SNP administration. The new Queensferry crossing, a bridge too far, has become the latest in a long line of dismal failures from this decaying, glorified regional council. It's not difficult to see what was blowing through their minds when the late/early opening of the new "super bridge."

The Importance of Women’s Reproductive Freedom
Women have been fighting for fair and equal rights for two centuries, with the first Women’s Rights Convention held in Seneca Falls, New York, in 1848. At the convention, the Declaration of Sentiments and Resolutions was drafted by Elizabeth Cady Stanton, much like the Declaration of Independence, which “demanded equality with men before the law, in education and employment.” (Imbornoni, n.d.). The struggle for equal rights did not go without violence, protests, resistance, and retaliation, which eventually led to hard-earned victories such as the right to vote; Colorado being the first state to adopt an amendment granting women the right to vote in 1893. 21st century women have been fighting a controversial battle in recent decades, regarding reproductive freedom and being denied the right to access healthcare regarding their reproductive health. Denying women the right to make their own personal and private choices regarding their reproductive health can lead women of all ages, races, and ethnicities to make dangerous, uninformed decisions regarding unwanted pregnancies due to lack of professional assistance and care.

The U.S. and Guns
Unfortunately, one of the biggest problems the United States faces at the moment is the plague of gun violence around the country. According to the CDC, approximately 34,000 people die each year in the U.S. because of firearms. That is a big number when you compare it to the other well developed countries around the world. The United States is the country with the most guns in the world. The U.S. constitution allows its citizens to purchase and own guns, however each state has the right to elaborate around these laws, either making it easier or harder to purchase a gun. There is a positive correlation between the states with the highest gun related deaths and the ease of access to guns in those states.

The "Magic" of White Men, White Women and Whiteness
Yeah I said it. White people have their own Magic. It just... isn't actual magic. I have come to the conclusion that white men look better on TV than they do in real life. This conclusion is based on observations of the media vs reality. It is also based on how the glassy expectations of white people (set by white people) were shattered by the hard hands of real life and truth. Back when I was in Africa, anytime I saw a white man, he was always portrayed as the hero, the successful businessman, the clever detective, the handsome romantic, the one who saved the "savages" (Africans and Native Americans) and in many more "positive" roles. There was nothing the white man could not do according to the (whitewashed and neo-colonized) media. Heck, you see white men in stories they had nothing to do with come out as the glorified hero, i.e. a white dude magically out bested every Chinese solider in a martial art that the Chinese have practiced for hundreds of years... in just two to three months (what the fuck?!). So of course I thought white men were magical creatures, I mean they were on TV, so it had to be true. I just had to go to America to end up with one for the rest of my life. Then I came to America... and let's say it was a big ass disappointment.

Insurance
Our government is stupid and just downright idiots when it comes to what's good for our people. Okay, first off I understand everyone's need for insurance but when the government approves insurance for people who ask for it just incase they need to see the doctor for the flu or some crap but deny it for a person who absolutely needs it because they have a lifetime disease... Tell me where the insurance company goes right denying a single mother of four kids, working two jobs and going to school and can't get insurance because she makes too much. Really she makes too much, how does she make too much when she's working herself to the bone with two jobs just to make ends meet and you want to tack on hundreds of dollars for a doctors visit? I'm sorry but how is that okay? Does the government not take into account that people have bills to pay, food to buy, clothes to get their kids, and most times school supplies? Then you have a single man with diabetes which is a life sentence and if not taken care of can kill you but he can't get insurance. Another man with deadly diabetes who by the way woke up with a sugar level of 588 he's lucky he woke up but he can't get insurance at all. A single mother with severe COPD amongst other problems is denied insurance. But yet a woman with 6 children from 6 different men can get insurance. Or a single man working a 30 hour job making 12 an hour by himself can get insurance just fine. Tell me how that's right tell me how our government insurance can let people with severe and deadly diseases walk around with no insurance and pray everyday that nothing happens to them but you can give insurance to a person who will go to the doctor cause they have the flu and no other reasons. Does the government not take enough from us with taxes? They want people to pay out of pocket for insurance or doctors visits, really, how do you expect us to do that when you are stealing all our money in taxes? Then you charge outrageous bills and then even if we do go to the doctor without insurance, the bill is so crippling that paying it back takes years.

Hillary and The DNC Screws Over America's Progress
Never in the history of our politics has America received big surprises coming from both parties. First, Paul Manafort and his long-time business associate Rick Gates turned themselves into the FBI. Both men have 12 charges against them and one of those charges is a conspiracy against the United States. An hour later, the news reports a former campaign volunteer, George Papadopoulos, has been cooperating with the FBI since July. This means there is information that will force more people to resign from the Trump administration and the impeachment process is not too far away. The other surprising news America received was former interim DNC chair, Donna Brazile spilling the beans about what took place in 2016. For the record, as a Bernie supporter, this is an I told you so. However, we are beginning to learn just how deep Hillary and the DNC rigged the 2016 elections. What Politico has published from Donna Brazile's new book Hacks — The Inside Story and Breakdowns That Put Donald Trump in Office is information the people should know.

Why American Gun Control Won't Happen
Whilst I think many people will question American gun laws in the light of recent outrages, I want to examine why it’s not a total call for changes. With so many people dying, it seems to those outside the states that a change should be obvious, that assault weapons should be banned and general gun sales limited. In America it appears though that excuses are made for each atrocity and that little attempt is made to change the laws. The N.R.A seems to have control over to many aspects of the attempts to change the laws and their influence seems to hold sway over people’s opinion.

An Open Letter to the Democratic Party
When I was a child, I was at my grandparents' house one weekend and I witnessed my grandmother yell an obscenity at my grandfather. It scared me and I began to cry. As she redirected her energy toward comforting me, I asked her why she was so mad at Pop Pop. She replied, "Pop Pop is a stinky Republican and it just makes Mimi so mad because she is a smart Democrat."
