Where are you really from?
I was unsure whether to write this essay. It felt poignant to speak upon my personal experiences receiving racism - in order to raise awareness for the minor everyday occurrences that you hear less about. However, my passport states that I am White British. How could I possibly understand racism? I am not claiming to be the worst case study of this discrimination. Nor am I suggesting that my examples are the ones in most need of immediate attention. The purpose of this essay is to share the problem in all of its forms. Minor racism is still racism. All of it must be abolished.

Biden & America's Hypocrisy in Ignoring Human Rights Violations in US & Africa But Coming for Burkina Faso . Content Warning.
Tuesday, 22 May 2024 By: TB Obwoge If you travel internationally often, you would probably get the sense that people think Americans are lunatics! We have a horrible world name, we have more than enough sterotypical rhetoric floating about, however is it really just sterotypes?

My Thoughts About Harrison Butker's Commencement Speech
Graduation season is in full bloom. To those who have or about to graduate and start the next chapter in life, I hope you have a long and successful life and career. Your hard work has paid off in an enormous way. Go out there and pursue your dreams and never let anyone or anything stand in your way of excellence. Set your own expectations rather than living up to the ones your parents set for you. So here's to you, Class of 2024!

Who You Might Be Based on Who You Sympathize With: PALESTINE, UKRAINE, RUSSIA, ISRAEL
UKRAINE & ISRAEL: The Liberal You might prefer relatively liberal societies that have a reasonable amount of social norms and expectations, and a certain degree of censorship and bad reactions to (some) protests. You may be center-left or center-right, possibly a neoliberal (or possibly, but less likely, a Trotskyite or nationalist) of some sort. Also includes neoconservatives, and some other (pro-establishment) "elitists" from almost every part of the political compass. These people are mostly afraid of something really "different" (in their government). They are afraid of change. They are probably also afraid of too much chaos and extremes. A lot of them might just want to live their lives (or think that), and would like more people to follow their "majority", "normal" stance on this issue. In addition, you might also have some ancestry or heritage that is Jewish or Ukrainian.

We Are Not Lazy Because We Are On Benefits. Top Story - May 2024.
My life has not been easy. I struggled at school with bullying and school work with very little support available to me, and that continued into adulthood, where it interfered with my mental health, and my ability to find work.

The Elasticity of Opinions
Debates and disagreements on all things political, religious, economic, racial and social are very much a part of human life. As people, we are all so vastly different with unique lived experience, upbringings, viewpoints, and biases. If we operate in a world where we express ourselves and our thoughts and beliefs honestly with others, especially others who are in fact so different from us, debate is only natural. I have learned so, so much from talking about important subjects from debating with other people.

May The Fourth Be With You! And May The Empire Crumble Into Dust!
I Love Star Wars So very, very much. It's one of those where, no matter what they add to it, whether I like it or not, all these things add something indescribably important to it. The second prequel movie was my very first Star Wars film, so no matter what issues you can bring up with the prequels, I'll fight to the end for them. I didn't watch all the animated shows they added to the canon, but I know how much richness they added to the lore, and appreciated them for it.
