Is it a fact or is it merely fiction? Exploring and debunking conspiracies and the lesser known truths in the world of politics.
How a company you have never heard of will shape the next decade.
The biggest thing going in tech right now brings with it a promising expansion of our technological future coupled with yet another wave of trillions in cash. I’ll leave it to the tech writers to discuss all the potential wonders 5G wireless speeds promise and focus strictly on the money. There is an interesting story happening right now and its fairly low key given how much money we are talking about and who stands to make that money.

Conspiracy Theories
IS THERE ANY REASON NOT TO BELIEVE? On the 20th of July 1969, 650 million people watched as Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin successfully walk on the moon. They landed the Apollo Lunar Module Eagle on the moon and stepped onto the dusty surface. This was, arguably one of the most significant events in history, and yet some people believe that the whole event was a hoax, set up by the American Government and NASA to show how powerful the Government was at influencing ordinary citizens.

Responsibility to Protect
The Responsibility to Protect is a pledge by the United Nations’ member states to address the four primary areas that touch on fundamental human rights. In the 2005 UN World Summit, all members of the United Nations committed to preventing war crimes, ethnic cleansing, genocide, and crimes against humanity. The Responsibility to Protect was formulated to address the weaknesses in the UN’s security response to crime against humanity. For instance, the council failed to intervene during the 1994 Rwandan Genocide that claimed the lives of more than eight hundred thousand people within a hundred days (Arlin, 2017, p. 15). The United Nation’s Security Council was reluctant to approve the deployment of reinforcement to overstretch and underequipped Ghanaian forces in the country to stop the genocide (Arlin, 2017, p. 15). Thus, Responsibility to Act was formulated to avoid the repeat of such incidences. However, it has failed to achieve its objective and just mere rhetoric in the international system.

Is The US Doing A Bad Job Handling The COVID 19 Pandemic?
Yesterday I shared a chart on Facebook comparing the number of deaths from COVID 19 in the US to the number of deaths in 5 other countries: Mexico, Canada, Italy, Germany, and Japan. At first glance, you can see the US has more than double the amount of deaths as Mexico and as much as 134 times as many deaths as Japan. This makes the US look like it has a crazily disproportionate amount of deaths to other countries.

The Importance of Voting in Person in 2020 Elections
Yes, It’s That Important This particular post is directed at the American population who are at least 18 years of age. Firstly; if you are not registered to vote, you need to register today so that your voice can be heard. If you are registered and not planning on voting, you need to decide to vote in November. It is vitally important that you cast your vote and allow your voice to be heard in this way. The future of the country is on the line. Deciding who is going to lead the United States of America as we move onward; is your right as well as your duty as a citizen.

The Future of Law Enforcement: The Chinese Social Credit System
Psycho-Pass I finished Season 1 of Psycho-Pass last week, and it just blew my mind. The story is set in 2112, where surveillance cameras scan the mental state of each passing citizen. The Sibyl System, which the citizens believe to be an A.I. algorithm, performs a cymatic scan and assesses each citizen’s potential of committing a crime, called a crime coefficient. When an individual’s crime coefficient exceeds a specific threshold, he/she is imprisoned and administered therapy until their crime coefficient is lowered down to an acceptable level.

2020
Today I write words I will never forget. Today I am more angry with the human race than ever before. Today I feel infuriated. Today I call out every single person this reaches, government officials, law enforcement, workers, front lines, parents, and yes even young people.

Covid-19
Coronavirus or Covid-19, whichever you like to call it. It has been in the news a lot overs this past few months. No matter where we turn, we are hearing about coronavirus or getting back to work. Kids need to be back in school in the fall. We all know that we need to work and the kids need to learn, but is it safe for all that to happen? Can we safely send our children to school? With numbers still rising and more people getting the virus, can we say it’s safe to send the ones we hold dear back to school when they can’t guarantee their safety.
