It seems every time one racially-charged incident ends, a gender or religious controversy takes its place; Ruminate on the issues dividing our nation and world.
The Great Convolution: Who Really Caused the Worst Act of War on US Soil?
September 11, 2001 will always exist as one of the deadliest days in this troubled nation's abborent history. Any American-based person who was old enough remember exactly what they were doing at the time on that fateful Tuesday morning. The who, what, where, when, or how-based elements of truth were not immediately clear. The obvious reality, however, unfolded in apocolyptic fashion as the American way of life, as it was experienced before would never be the same.

First, They Came for Robert E. Lee
I mean, let’s be fair, didn’t the old general choose the Confederacy because his loyalty was to Virginia before America? There’s a lot to be said for regionalisation but I don’t want to go there this time. And didn’t he go on to say that he would free all the slaves if he could prevent war? Maybe that’s splitting hairs. Lee and the South did a very bad thing so we must remove all bad things from the past disturb or offend us, right?

The protest was directed towards the removal of confederate monument in the city centre, where the "Unite the Right" group feel pride towards their confederate heritage and the counter-protesters feel, that as liberals, they should leave Virginia's confederate past behind them. A car ran into a crowd of counter-protesters after clashes occurred between the two groups.

For Those Who "Don't See Color". Top Story - August 2017.
Welcome to your alternate universe, where up is down and down is hate. It would be ignorant of me to not touch on this particular subject, especially considering what's happening in the United States. From "building a wall" to the immigration ban, it seems that the theme for 2017 is white power. Where Democracy once reigned, some countries like Greece or Hungary are now reveling in what they call "nationalism" but we all know it by its old name: fascism. It is now seen as freedom of expression to be outwardly hateful to other human beings based solely on the fact that some people cannot accept the fact that the landscape of the world is now changing. Welcome to 2017, where the need for a Martin Luther King or Gandhi has never felt more needed than now...

The Mounting Tempest
Hindsight is relative in proportion to events that have already occurred. That being said, with the transgressions that the Trump administration has done, many now wonder would the electoral college have voted for the one candidate who had the majority of Americans in his corner if they knew how the Trump Presidency is turning out to be? A historical turn of events would have taken place. It is so sad that today we use the word hindsight in terms relating to what has been going on ever since Trump took office.

"The Daily Stormer" Troubles Not Over
There's a storm brewing for Andrew Anglin, founder of neo-Nazi website "The Daily Stormer." Sirius XM host Dean Obeidallah, who is of Muslim-American descent, is suing because a June 1 article posted on "The Daily Stormer" implied that Obeidallah was behind the Manchester, England bombing at a May 22, 2017 Ariana Grande concert. 22 people were killed at 59 were injured.
