Starmer Learning From Kamala's Defeat.

Labour Flaunting Being Tough on Immigration.

By Nicholas BishopPublished about a year ago 3 min read
Sir Keir.

What can Labour learn from the defeat of their equivalent in the US, the Democrats? Kamala did for a while, give new life to the Democratic POTUS campaign. It knocked Trump's campaign off track. All of his campaigns had been about defeating the incumbent President Joe Biden. However, Trump regained his momentum, especially after his two assassination attempts. He came back stronger and his voters were not just the majority European-American population. Blacks, Native Americans, and Asians voted for him. Why would people who are not of European heritage lend their vote to a so-called racist?

Women were not falling over themselves to vote for Kamala. Women instead voted for Trump. Why many people are asking? The mind does indeed boggle if Trump is indeed sexist and racist. These people must have seen something in him that Kamala couldn't offer. Trump is a good communicator able to get those people on his side. Trump did this in his first term and it looks like he's done it again on his second win. Whether Trump is genuine in persuading people of all backgrounds to vote for him and keep to whatever he promised them remains to be seen.

Trump's new cabinet is composed of yes men and women. right-wing Zionist people who Trump hopes will follow his word to the latter. Trump has promised peace between Russia and Ukraine. Peace between Israel and its enemies. Can Trump pull it off? Looking at the picks for his cabinet many doubt it. However, weird things happen these days and I'm not talking about the gradual acceptance and revelations about UAPS. Something I covered in my article yesterday. I'm talking about Trump pulling off peace in these regions. So, whether you like Trump or not expect the unexpected from the 'Tan Man'. That could be another reason why Trump has garnered votes. Trump isn't like your common or garden politician.

The Labour Party did support Kamala's campaign. Indeed, Trump complained about it but what did he expect? The Labour Party is the UK equivalent of the US Democrats. Trump probably saw it as UK interference in the US election. Just as other nations are accused of dabbling in US elections.

However, Trump was triumphant. Kamala thought that by calling Trump a Nazi and a criminal she would win. Surrounding herself with puffed-up stars like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift didn't help. Surrounding yourself with celebs may have worked once but not any more. People know these celebs live a life a million miles away from ordinary folk. Many people today are educated and are not the ill-educated peasants of days gone by. They do not like being patronised by Billion-Dollar celebs. And, so these celebs could not bring victory for Kamala. Trump too could be accused of getting support and endorsement from famous people. Notably, billionaire and alleged Martian (maybe) Elon Musk. The difference was Musk's support for Trump didn't weaken Trump's campaign. Of all people, how could Musk know the struggles of ordinary folk?

One thing that lost the Democrats in the election was immigration. Many folk poured over the US border and Kamala as Immigration Czar failed to stop them. Biden gave her that job and unfortunately, she failed miserably. The Democrats realized too late that this was one of their Achille's heels. Trump has promised to be tough on illegals and so we'll see what he does on this.

Sir Keir Starmer from this side of the pond has seen this defeat the Democrats. Sir Keir Starmer appeared on television flanked by Union Jacks espousing how Labour is doing something to stop migrants. Praising the National Crime Agency in arresting an alleged boat smuggler in Europe. Labour has pledged to "Smash the gangs" that ferry illegals across the Channel. However, as you smash one gang another gang pops up. The gangs are adapting to law enforcement trying to stop their activities.

Voters will be expecting the Prime Minister to "Smash the gangs" and bring down those numbers of people crossing the Channel. The number of migrants crossing the Channel is going to rise to 20,000. This number since Labour came to power in July this year.
