Rule by the ultra-woke elite. Fact or fiction?

Manipulation of governance.

There are people so arrogant and self-centred that they automatically dismiss anything “popular” as wrong, distasteful, beneath their consideration. A few hundred years ago this used to be the attitude among the aristocratic hereditary rulers in Europe but now it is worldwide and those holding these opinions are in controlling positions of government bureaucracies, the legal professions, the media, and education.

They think they are being insulting when they call politicos “popularist” just because the politician has the support of the majority of people. To these self-appointed, elite, superior class, the very idea that an idea is popular and supported by the masses means it is wrong and must be opposed. This way of thinking means they consider that a multimillion selling author cannot possibly write “literature”, they think popular music is beneath their consideration simply because so many others like it. They even extend this into food, if it is popular they automatically think must be harmful and so banned or taxed.

These are the ultra-woke, who have distorted the original woke meaning (to care for the problems of others) into a system of control over all those who they despise simply because they show they have views and opinions that are shared by the majority.

These people are not elected, they do not accept public responsibility, (but they do bask in the approval of their likeminded friends) they seek to coerce and control without ever putting themselves at risk. They have useful idiots who they manipulate into going around demonstrating, protesting, rioting while these people stay out of sight. They will talk piously about democracy, human rights, the needs of the mases to be guided, some of them will even believe their own utterances, but the reality is shown by the fact they consider it an insult when they call a politician populist, ( i.e., one who is popular among voters)

It has to be noticed that just like the term “woke” their meaning of populism is a distortion of the original meaning--- In political science, populism is the idea that society is separated into two groups at odds with one another - "the pure people" and "the corrupt elite", according to Cas Mudde, author of Populism: A Very Short Introduction.

As depicted in the works of George Orwell (Eric Arthur Blair) and Aldous Huxley, the changing of the meaning of words becomes a useful tool for those who claim some sort of intellectual superiority as their validation for seeking control over others. To take a commonly used word with a harmless and fairly mundane meaning and to ascribe this word to a totally different concept causes confusion and confusion is a great weapon of this self-appointed elite. One has only to make a study of the global politics of climate change, to see how this works. Climate change over long periods of time is a constant of this planet. Geology shows that over thousands of years the climate and changed warm to cold and back again. There are conflicting reports, various scientific sounding studies and a wide range of opinion as to how fast, and how much, future change will affect nations. These uncertainties have been used to create a reason, a mandate, a justification, for all manner of controlling mechanisms, especially tax raising; mechanisms that would be unacceptable to the public- who pay the taxes and who are those being controlled- without the “save the planet” slogans. By careful selection of which scientific studies to use and by careful manipulation of these studies, together with suppression of alternative options they have controlled the economics of nearly every nation, especially the material developed nations.

Social engineering has been practiced since the days of nomadic tribes; the growth of various “religions” that allowed selected members of a society to have control and power is basically social engineering. The manipulation of race and racial differences has been used by some to gain control over the many. Mass economic migration is a factor in the future political direction of many materially developed nations today. How much this migration is manipulated by others is unclear, but some degree of organisation has the be involved when so many people from a few nations, seek illegal and often very dangerous journeys to another nation without invitation and indeed without being welcome. What information (true and untrue) causes so many to make such arduous journeys ? The majority of people in the destination nations probably have some sympathy with induvial immigrants but the sheer number and the Ultra-woke insistence that the receiving nation must adapt their social norms and even religious beliefs to accommodate the newcomers, is an obvious cause of conflict. So obvious it can be considered a deliberate policy to coerce change in the attitude of the majority of indigenous people. Some suggestions are made of a religious objective, a deliberate plan to enlarge the power of one religion over others is suggested, but how strong are the religious beliefs of the immigrants? How much misinformation and manipulation are they subjected to? The control by an unelected self-appointed immensely wealthy and powerful group who use the Ultra-woke believers, is a common “conspiracy theory”. That does not make it wrong. But what is to be done to restore democratic control of the people by the people? Fascism and communism have both failed because they end up being exactly the same- oppressive stagnation under despotic dictatorships.

The population of the world is fast approaching a level that is unsustainable whatever the climate holds in the future. The world is changing because of technology and to some extent due to climate change but that change is far slower than those wishing to control and grow rich would have us believe. Technology that allows machines to replace people coupled with global mega corporations who wish, understandably, to manipulate public use of their products and services are allied to the growth in professional politicians. The old-style conviction politicians who honestly believed their policies would help all citizens seem to have gone and been replaced by the political party machines which are governed by unseen people with power but no responsibility. These party machines need money in order to buy media manipulation of voters, and this money can only come from those with a great deal of it, the global corporations and their owners.

We are approaching a paradox where the global corporations need increasing numbers of customers with money to buy their products, coupled with an increasing population who have been replaced by technology and so have no employment and so no money. The social problems this will cause may be greater than any we face now.
