Our National Debt
Like most of you, I was a bit confused and wanted elaboration on the subject of the National Debt. To me, this is one of the most important topics, regardless of who runs the country. So I started searching the web for explanation, but it seems that the articles online fall short of clarity. Most of these websites explain as if you are familiar with financial concepts. Authority and the Truth
Truth is defined as a judgment or idea that is true or accepted as true. The two areas of knowledge examples I will be talking about are the history of immigration in the United States as well as the way women were subjugated in the name of mental illnesses during the 1800s-1900s, which falls under human science. She was stern, she was smart and cunning, she cared for her people among all else, she refused to be tricked or used, and she was The Virgin Queen. Not much is said on Elizabeth’s childhood and young adult life before she took the throne, so maybe a deeper look at Elizabeth’s younger years will help explain her older ones just a bit more.

#RESIST and the Splintering of Political Culture
Introduction Donald Trump’s populist rhetoric has spurred a counter movement: the #resist movement. This response is unique in that it is outright aided by major media outlets internationally, as opposed to a grassroots movement localized within the United States. To understand the #resist movement, it is critical to first introduce Trump and provide a brief history of his election. The #resist movement's success originated with corporate activism and private enterprises which, with aid from oppositional media outlets, celebrities, and brands contributed to future polarizing the political atmosphere. These events have led to further radicalization not just on the left within the #resist movement, but also on the right. Lastly, this essay will discuss how the heated and divisive nature of politics may create an environment conducive to second term for Trump by splintering and weakening the liberal vote.
