How Apartheid Almost Didn’t Happen
Someone once said that hindsight is a privilege. Nowhere is this more poignant than when looking into the past, and reflecting on the historical events that have shaped the world we live in today. From our present position we get to analyse and judge these events while at the same time theorizing on alternative worlds in the wake of even the slightest change in circumstances. The ‘what ifs’ abound with varying implications, but it can be safely said that in many instances, even the slightest change in events at any point in time, could have put us all on a different course to the one we currently navigate.

Learning Politics With RoboCop
I've always been a very studious guy. I just like learning, and it's paid off in many ways, from graduating at the top of my class in high school to getting my current very good day job. However, not all of my learning has come from textbooks and classrooms. I've actually learned more about financial management from playing building sim video games than from my economics classes, for example. Movies have also bolstered my education beyond the classroom. In fact, I gained full understanding of two very complex political issues thanks to my favorite movie of all time, the 1987 sci-fi/action masterpiece RoboCop.

A True Presidential Landslide Is Impossible to Win
Pundits from both sides are predicting a Trump landslide in 2020 if the Democrats nominate a socialist and communist sympathizer with Bernie Sanders. The Left is so dug in with their hate of President Trump that it won’t matter. Politicians on the Left support his radical ideas but don’t have the guts to say it. That’s why Sanders is so popular and the Left will vote for anyone but Trump.

The dying planet: its a rich man's world
In the fight to keep our Earth turning, its money that makes the world go round. The world's richest 1% encompasses 44% of global wealth and some of the members of this exclusive club, coincidentally (or not-so-coincidentally) happen to be some of the world's most influential. Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg and the like have the ultimate power for change - which makes it all the more damaging that they contribute the least to the cause. Greta Thunberg and the Extinction Rebellion have done well to inspire ordinary folk like you and me to do their own bit for the environment, however, Greta did not set out to do this, in fact, her goal was to arouse change in the men with the moolah: the celebrities, the CEOs, the biggest influencers.

Dreams Down the Drain
Dear “Leaders”, Who am I to talk to when no one will listen to anything that they don’t agree with? Which leaders am I supposed to reach out too when they are all bought out, whipped into shape by the companies that own the world? The people in the know are too complacent with the lives they live and are fearful of change. Society functions effortlessly when we consider the environment has forever. I wish I had forever.

Ideology Is More Important Than Intersectionality
The Left is obsessed with intersectionality and identity politics. Merriam- Webster defines intersectionality as, “the complex, cumulative way in which the effects of multiple forms of discrimination (such as racism, sexism, and classism) combine, overlap, or intersect especially in the experiences of marginalized individuals or groups.” It sounds innocent enough, but this idea is a significant reason why America is divided.

Climate Alarmists Don’t Want You to Know This
The climate change activist movement is one of the most powerful and committed groups in the world to their cause. Many of them believe the world is going to end in the next decade if radical action isn’t taken NOW. They want the world, especially the United States, to be off fossil fuels. This would do major damage to our economy and weaken our position in the world, which is their goal.

A Mainstream Media Member Admits Bias On Camera
The mainstream media continue pretending they don’t promote a left-wing agenda. They scoff at the idea they don’t deliver an unbiased perspective. This happens when you live in an echo chamber or surrounded by groupthink. The media have been biased for decades. This is getting exposed and people are going elsewhere for their news.
