Biology and Technology in the Real World: Fracking
What is fracking? Fracking is the process of drilling down into rock face where oil and natural gas deposits are trapped below. Once a suitable depth has been reached, a mixture of sand, water, thickening agents, and chemicals are pumped into the rock to fracture it. This is why the process is called hydraulic fracturing, or fracking for short. Once the rock has been broken, the solution pumped into the fracture creates fissures in the rock where oil and natural gas deposits can theoretically flow more easily, and they can be siphoned and collected. Fracking was theorized in 1947, with the first successful commercial application happening in 1950. Since then, over two and a half million “frack jobs” have been completed worldwide on oil and gas wells; over a million of those in the US.

The politics of overseas aid
The politics of overseas aid The UN has a vast budget, why is this not overseas aid? Politicians in most developed democracies, seem to have an aversion to questioning what their tax payers are forced to donate to other nations, as aid.

Today social activism is considered an important force to protect civil rights and bring innovation to society. Looking at the world nowadays we can certainly say that social activism is more important now than ever and taking part in these activities is politically essential to society. Many famous activists in the world are playing important roles in changing society for good and defending human rights. Let's All Erase 2020 From Our Memory Pt. 2
They say it is not RACISM, so I do not know what to call it. We tried to tell them that we MATTERED, they said we created a HATE GROUP. We decided it is time to BEAR ARMS, they called us a MILITIA GROUP. We tried to PROTEST, others came out to steal and they said we were LOOTERS.

Thank you Artists
As I thought about the last for years as someone living in the United States, I asked myself, "how did we all make it?" But of course not all of us did. There has been so much tragedy and hardship for so many. With the rise of hatred and racism. It was always there bubbling under the surface but certain political enablers had emboldened it. With banning certain people from the country, and the terrible separations at the border. Nothing has really felt alright for empaths for the past four years. And then the pandemic hit and everyone was forced to make a choice. To stay home and take precautions or to do whatever they wanted. But for most of us, we were faced with true disaster for the first time. So for those of us still hanging on and getting by, what has got us through four years of repeated chaos and then several months of heightened trauma?

Donald Trump Should Never Run for Office Again
The Fairest Election Ever This year was one of the most highly contested presidential elections of all time. It was also one of the most difficult due to the COVID-19 epidemic which caused states to make drastic changes to their voting processes. Fortunately, this was realized early enough that most states had enough time to make the changes necessary to have a smooth and fair election. This should go down as Donald Trump's greatest achievement as president.

The Cults of Trump
We are all aware of the outcome of the 2020 Election by now, as well as the backlash from the Trump campaign. As of the writing of this, The Trump administration is still not letting the Biden Transition Team begin the transition of power. No one who has paid attention to things over the last few years should be surprised by this, Trump himself eluded to there not being a peaceful transition of powers.

Trump's Cult: Tell Them
Trump fans will try and backtrack. They may try and engage in proverbial gymnastics in years to come...to make their behavior acceptable. Or they could try and erase the very mention of the repugnant person for whom they were willing to lose so much. To lose their businesses, to lose their integrity, and for some, Herman Cain comes to mind, even their lives.

When I Was Young
The sounds of silence so soothing to hear where visions of my past so often appear. We all should remember the tranquility of those simpler days where we had seasons in the sun. Rita, Ann, Mary-Lou and Sue were just a few of the girls I once new. The games we played is where innocence was displayed. Now, that I have reached the Autumn of my years I still reflect of those bye gone days. Fortunate I was to have traveled the globe and seen the world through so many different eyes.
