History of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Born on January 15, 1929, we celebrate a holiday in honor of a man who was not a president, nor an explorer, nor a saint. Rather he was a Baptist minister and an American leader of the 1960s civil rights movement named for the Protestant Reformer Martin Luther after his father was inspired by a trip to Luther’s Wittenberg.

Dear Mr. Trump, An unpopular opinion.
Hi Donny! I really do hope this letter finds you well. Know what? it Looks like it might soon be “Rough Year” for you if experts are anything to be believed. By the time you read this you may have already relinquished the world’s toughest job; Either by your own volition or by the people in congress who would love nothing more than to see you in chains.

Don’t Forget To Close The Door Behind You
Within four years in power you have divided the U.S.A and encited entertainment, endless memes and caused protests all over the world. Your tenure in caused politics into a taboo subject in social circles. Many people call you a reincarnation of Adolf Hitler, but I would say you are more of the second coming of Henry VIII: a man who loves power, women and would be willing do everything to get what you want to get it, even if it meant dividing a country and a nation.

America for all
Dear Mr. Trump, I have never understood why people choose to be cruel. Even if one does not have much for empathy, being cruel to people rarely works in favor of the cruel person. You have been exceedingly cruel to minority communities. I hear on the news that you are full of self-pity, that you think the world has been so terribly unfair to you.

Goodbye, Donald Trump
Hey, Mr. Cheeto Supreme I guess you are wondering why I am writing you this letter. More than likely, you probably will not even read it. Yeah, I know that you do not like to read. Anyway, whether you read it or not I am still going to say what I need to say. At least it will be off my chest and in your lap while you are sitting in the front seat of the moving truck that will be parked in front of the White House in a few days. Are you excited? I know I am! You have wreaked havoc on this country and opened the gates for your remedial minions to run around as if everyone should reverence them. I hate to burst your bubble, Agent Orange but I am not intimidated by you or them. If anything, I think you are all a joke. As a black woman, I have had to sit and watch for the past four years while people like me have been treated unfairly every single day. We have endured police brutality, racial profiling, and our cries for racial equality has been laughed at by you and your followers. We are tired. Not only that, but you have also downplayed a pandemic that has basically ripped this country apart financially. Ironically, you ended up getting this very deadly virus yourself and you still wanted to downplay it even then. Many people are dying or have died from this pandemic and you were more worried about posting your latest tweet!! Thank GOD you have been banned from all social media networks!! Oh! And let us not forget the insurrection you caused by boosting your followers to breach The Capitol last week!! You set those idiots up and now you are hiding your hands!! Typical brat move don't you think? Anyway, I am glad that you are leaving!! I pray that as soon as the clock strikes twelve on January 20, that the Secret Service will wake you out of your sleep and drag your butt straight out of the White House and in the middle of the street!! Goodbye, Tangerine Face!!! You are the worst President this country has ever had!!! It is a bit annoying knowing that you are so delusional to the point of thinking that you won the election and that it was stolen from you. You cannot even admit that you lost because of your ego. You have for the past two months boosted your followers to do the unthinkable by giving them the green light to breach the Capitol. Now, instead of owning up to it, you are throwing them under the bus and hiding your hands. It is a bit too late to hide those infant hands of yours. The entire world, including the Republican Party, is seeing who you really are, and they are not too happy with you. Honestly, I think the Republican Party’s new distaste for you is a bit too late. They literally gave you free rein to act like an uncontrollable brat for four years. Now that you have wreaked havoc in their house, they are ready to get rid of you. Seeing your burnt orange face leaving the White House in five days is all I have been looking forward to since the day you were elected. I wish I could be there to watch you leave with nothing but straight embarrassment on your face. I know that seeing your dear Republicans turn their back on you kind of stings. And it serves you right. You deserve everything that is coming to you and then some! Bye, Orangey!!!

To All My Social Media
In this time of unknowns, social media may be one of the casualties. Political or opinions can cause one to be banned or deleted. There are too many variables at stake to risk losing touch. Too much information, some good, some bad. Some true, some false. Some skewed in either direction for influences we don’t understand.

Saying Goodbye
Dear Mr. Resident of Pennsylvania Avenue, As I sit here to write this letter, I find myself needing to drown out my own conflicting thoughts. I consider things I would have liked to tell you, if only you would have listened, and doubtful you ever would have cared. I reflect back to the moments over the past few years and all the words I have had for you. I do this knowing my words would never have moved you, no matter how eloquently I scribed them. I doubt you even would have understood half of them, yet here I am, still doing my best to give it a go.
