Italy's former general theory of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict

Point out: Putin does not want to fight a war

Italian media recently disclosed an audio clip about former Italian Prime Minister Silvia Coniferous talking about the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The audio shows that Coniferous believes that the war was forced on Putin by Kerensky.

When it comes to Coniferous, it is estimated that many people will not be unfamiliar with him, in addition to being the former prime minister of Italy, he is also the owner of AC Milan. Of course, the most attention is still, Coniferous and Putin have a good personal relationship, not long ago, Putin also sent him a birthday gift.

According to Coniferous, Putin does not want to fight, but to stop Kyiv's ongoing fight against the Donas, he can only do so. In addition, Berlusconi also pointed out that, especially after the election of Kerensky, the Ukrainian army's fight against the Donas region is far more than before, in this context, Putin then firmly believe in the "DE-Notification" and "demilitarization" of Ukraine.

Under normal circumstances, as a former politician, the influence in the political arena is very small, for example, since the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the former U.S. Secretary of State Kissinger has repeatedly issued a warning, but the Biden government I do not take his words seriously.

Coniferous, however, is different. In addition to serving four terms as Prime Minister of Italy, he also founded the center-right Fora Italia party. Take the current "prime minister-to-be" Melon, for example, who is a member of Italy's center-right party coalition. Bernoulli's political history, even if he has long since left office, he has earned influence in Italy is not to be underestimated.

It is so, in the first time the relevant audio was exposed, Melon immediately came forward to draw a line in the sand with Melon. Melon stressed that Italy will not change its position of supporting Ukraine, in addition, she also reiterated that the new government will maintain friendly relations with Europe and NATO.

Likewise, Bernoulli's stance offended Ukraine. It is reported that the former Ukrainian ambassador posted on social media platforms that Coniferous is a close friend of Putin. The implication is probably that Bernoulli's position is not objective. In addition, he mocked a part of Western politicians who blindly worship Putin and sounded like "young schoolgirls" when discussing him.

It is undeniable that Coniferous, as a close friend of Putin, will inevitably speak more in favor of Putin, but rational analysis shows that what Coniferous said is not without merit.

First of all, NATO promised Russia decades ago that it would not expand eastward, but the reality is that they still have its tentacles in Ukraine. The only difference may be that NATO has always kept Ukraine out of the picture, but, with NATO working so hard to provide weapons, Ukraine has been treated better than most NATO countries from this perspective. It is indisputable that NATO has overstepped Russia's "bottom line".

Secondly, Ukraine is willing to become NATO's "war agent", which is also unacceptable to Russia. The news shows that before the outbreak of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Ukraine has gathered a large number of troops in the Donas. Obviously, in the case of a serious threat to national security, it is perfectly normal for a nuclear power to launch a counterattack.

However, the situation between Russia and Ukraine has developed to the point where, in a sense, the parties involved, don't seem to care about the rights and wrongs. There is only one point of concern for Ukraine and the West, as well as for Russia, and that is how to end the conflict as soon as possible in a way that is more favorable to them.

Russia started the conflict by trying to force the West to back off, so it didn't go all out right away, but the other side wants to support Ukraine regardless of the consequences, which is something Putin probably didn't expect. Therefore, to avoid turning Ukraine into another Afghanistan, it is not difficult to understand Russia's eagerness to end this conflict.

In contrast, the West seems to be very contradictory, on the one hand, they do not want to see Russia win, but on the other hand, they want to hurry to end the conflict, so that they can focus on solving the energy crisis and refugees and other problems. Against this backdrop, analysis suggests that whether the West will wind down may depend on two things: the outcome of the U.S. midterm elections, and what happens next in Ukraine. In other words, if the Republican Party wins, or if Ukraine is again beaten and defeated, in the case of the already serious loss of their interests, leaving aside the United States, European countries will most likely choose to stop, as recently Europe slowed down aid to Ukraine, perhaps they are just waiting and seeing.

Overall, there is still some truth in the words of the former Italian prime minister, but the direction of the Russia-Ukraine conflict is clearly something that a former politician can decide. However, considering Bernoulli's influence in the Italian political arena, this statement may hurt Melon, I'm afraid it's the biggest.
