Is Trump Already a Failure?
Are The Wheels Coming Off Trump's Wagon?

Trump was the go-to man before becoming President. He was held up by many Americans as the alternative to Biden. He was the man who was going to get rid of forever wars like quagmires in Afghanistan. He was going to end the Ukraine-Russia war and the Hamas-Israel war. He was going to put America first. He has grand designs on Canada, Greenland, and the Panama Canal. He was going to bring an end to so-called Woke culture. Make Christian prayer and beliefs prominent again. Trump was going to deal with illegal immigration into the USA.
So let's look at Trump's second time in the White House. For many, Trump has restored Christ to the centre of American life. Prayers are said in the White House before every meeting. Trump has backing from the evangelical Christian community in the US. It's good that Trump has restored Christ to the centre of American life, but would Jesus approve? A new word has been coined about Trump, his government, and his supporters: Christian Nationalism. Where the apple pie America is prominent again, where everyone rallies around the flag, and everyone has manners. Sounds like a 1940s America, Captain America (the Steve Rogers version) would be proud of, right? Well, when you consider Trump has expansionist plans for Greenland, Canada, the Panama Canal, and God knows where else, I think Cap would think again. Then there's backing for the fascist entity known as Israel. Which, under Netanyahu and his far- right cronies, is responsible for destroying Gaza and murdering over 50,000 Gazans. Biden backed Israel for the awful events of October 7 2023. However, Trump promised to end the conflict, but instead, after a brief ceasefire, he has given the green light to Netanyahu to carry on his destruction in Gaza.
Trump promised that the war in Ukraine and the war in Gaza would never have happened under his watch. He was the man to bring peace to a quagmire of Biden's making. However, as James said in the Bible, "Words require actions". Trump has yet to bring peace to the conflict between Putin and Zelenskyy. Trump humiliated Zelenskyy at the White House in front of the world press. And Trump seemed to favour Putin. And Trump has a penchant for strongmen. Maybe he sees himself mirrored in people like Putin and Netanyahu. Things, however, seemed to have repaired themselves between Trump and Zelenskyy. Trump appears to have realized that Putin is a snake and cannot be trusted. Putin has, in actuality, agreed to peace but on Russia's terms. Trump said he was quote "Pissed off" with Putin. Why, because 'Vlad The Invader' has rebuffed Trump's peace plan. So the war carries on just like the war in Gaza.
Trump seems to have been more successful in deporting so-called illegal immigrants. He has even gotten Mexico to put its troops at the border to stop illegal migrants from crossing into the US. The issue of immigration, whether legal or illegal, is a hot topic in the US. So there will be thousands of Americans applauding Trump's actions and others doing the opposite.
In threatening to take over Greenland, Canada, and the Panama Canal, he has made those nations and communities feel threatened. Canada, however, under Prime Minister Mark Carney, has found a rallying point. Mr. Carney has said in 'Churchillian' fashion, "Canada will never surrender". The Greenlanders under Danish rule, though they enjoy autonomy, have said they want to be independent. Not ruled by the US or even Denmark, some are saying. The Prime Minister of Denmark has rebuked Trump once on the phone and recently when she flew to Greenland.
Trump has imposed high tariffs on competitor nations like China. He has even imposed them on so-called allies like the European Union. Trump has family ties in the UK (as do many Americans), has imposed lower tariffs on UK goods at 10%. That said, top-of-the-range car manufacturing in the UK will be hit by 25% tariffs. One car firm has halted exports to the US to assess Trump's tariffs.
While Trump thinks these tariffs will benefit US manufacturing and cause Americans to buy more home-grown goods, the US economy will take a hit, too. Nations targeted with tariffs will and have responded to the export of American goods to their countries. Canada has responded, the EU has responded, China has responded, and the UK has yet to respond.
Americans have come out onto the streets, demonstrating against tariffs. They know 'Joe Public' will pay the price for Trump's actions, as America will pay higher taxes to export goods.
Trump, with or without his puppet Netanyahu (or the other way round), is now threatening the Islamic Republic of Iran with bombing. Trump wants Iran to sign up to a deal that will limit or get rid of its nuclear industry. Trump wrote a letter to the Ayatollah inviting his nation to talks. However, the Ayatollah didn't take kindly to it. Trump threatened Iran to agree to a deal or get bombed. The Ayatollah said, "If America makes mischief for Iran, Iran would deliver a reciprocal blow". This is a wet dream for Netanyahu. Many of Trump's supporters are Israel supporters. Christian Zionism goes hand in hand with Christian nationalism. But in fact, there is nothing Christian about it all.
Trump is assembling aircraft carriers, B2 Stealth bombers in Diego Garcia, the US has many military bases in the Middle East/ West Asia. Is Trump going to carry out his threat to hit Iran, or is it all bluff and bluster to get Iran around the table?
Trump walked away from the original deal in 2015, which was going well. The deal didn't suit Netanyahu, so Trump walked away. Iran is still a regional power, however, its proxies are weakened by a war with Israel. Hezbollah is around, but much of its infrastructure, leaders, and fighters are gone. Hamas is still alive and kicking, but it is not the power it was. The Houthis are getting hammered day and night by the US. So, Iran finds itself exposed and potentially could find itself at war with Trump's America.
Trump is playing a dangerous game. Russia and China, Allies of Iran, have made warnings to the US not to bomb Iran. China depends on Iranian oil. Russia is dependent on Iranian arms. Trump has admitted we could be on the verge of WWIII.
If Trump goes ahead with or without Israel and bombs Iran's nuke facilities or its underground weapons facilities, Iran has threatened to hit back. What will Russia, already tied down in Ukraine, do? What will China, which has designs on Taiwan, do? Even North Korea could do something!
So are the wheels coming off Trump's wagon? I think it may be too early to say; however, on the other hand, the downfall of Trump may have begun.
