Imran Khan's Sons Call for Global Pressure on Pakistan for His Release
Qasim and Suleman Urge International Leaders, Including Trump, to Intervene Amid Allegations of Inhumane Prison Conditions and Media Silence

Qasim and Suleman Demand International Pressure on Pakistan for Imran Khan’s Release
During an interview, Imran Khan’s sons, Suleman Khan and Qasim Khan, demanded international attention and pressure for their father’s release. They said:
“To secure the release of our father Imran Khan, we will appeal to every government that supports freedom of expression and true democracy. Who could be better to focus on this issue than Trump?”
It’s worth noting that this is the first time both sons of the former Prime Minister have spoken publicly about their father’s imprisonment in an interview with podcaster Mario Nawfal. They have appealed to the international community, including President Trump, to raise their voices for Imran Khan’s release.
Regarding a message for the Trump administration, Suleman Khan said:
“We want the international community to see everything that’s happening to him.”
He added:
“We would like to speak to Donald Trump or find a way where he could help in some manner, because ultimately, our goal is to free our father from prison and ensure his basic human rights.”
Imran Khan’s sons alleged during the interview that:
“Imran Khan is living under inhumane conditions and is being deprived of basic human rights.”
In response to a question from Mario Nawfal, Imran Khan’s sons said:
“Despite court orders, we are unable to talk to our father every week. In fact, we only get to talk once every two to three months. As far as we know, he’s not allowed to meet or talk with any other prisoner and lives there in isolation. There was even a time when he was kept in complete darkness for 10 days.”
Imran Khan has been imprisoned in Adiala Jail since August 2023 and is currently serving a sentence in the £190 million corruption case. He is also facing pending cases under the Anti-Terrorism Act related to the May 9, 2023, protests.
Last year, the court granted his sons weekly contact with him, but both claim that this has not been consistently possible.

“It Seems Like There’s Complete Silence in the Global Media”: Imran Khan’s Sons
When asked in the interview why they’ve decided to speak out now, Qasim Khan said:
“We took legal routes and tried every path that we believed could lead to Imran Khan’s release. But we never imagined he would remain in jail for so long. As the situation worsens, we’ve decided that going public is the only option left.”
Regarding the lack of success through legal means, Suleman Khan said:
“We’ve tried all other options and legal paths. Yet, it feels like there is complete silence in the international media.”

“Grateful for Richard Grenell’s Support So Far”
In response to a question about U.S. official Richard Grenell’s demand for Imran Khan’s release, Suleman Khan said they haven’t spoken directly with him but are grateful for his support so far.
He further alleged that after a major protest was recorded against pressure on democracy and election rigging, further harsh conditions were imposed on Imran Khan in jail as punishment.
“Our father is not corrupt, and even the establishment knows this.”

“The Army Is Mine, and So Is This Country – The Nation Must Remain Ready and United for Any New Attack”: Imran Khan
In a recent statement, former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan said:
“The recent tension with India once again proved that Pakistanis are a brave and dignified nation. I’ve always said the army is mine, and so is this country.”
In a statement posted on social media platform X from his official account, Imran Khan commented on the Pakistan-India tensions:
“Just as our forces defeated Modi at the air and ground borders, the Pakistani people—especially on social media—defeated Modi and RSS’s narrative worldwide.”
According to his statement:
“Modi displayed cowardice by targeting civilians, women, the elderly, and infrastructure in Pakistan, to which our forces gave a strong response. We share the grief of the families of both civilian and military martyrs in these cowardly attacks.”
Imran Khan praised the professionalism and performance of the Pakistan Air Force and all military personnel, saying:
“Modi will try his best to hurt Pakistan economically. The nation must remain prepared and united in case of any new attack.”
He concluded:
“Wars are fought 60% with nerves. That’s why it’s crucial to have leadership that has the nation’s support, can make swift decisions, and respond to any aggression. I’ve always emphasized that we should not isolate our people and must revive our justice system.”
