Dear Future President
Will the American people ever matter?

It's time for another political article because as I surf through Twitter and Youtube I'm seeing post after post about Trump and Kamala. Oy ve and a half. Look what America has been reduced to: Trump, the felon who causes insurrections or Kamala, the brain dead druggie who can't complete an actual real sentence. We are so doomed. Still, if I could vote, I'd give my vote to the felon. At least I can understand him when he speaks.
In the past I had written letters to the President. I wrote to President Obama and I wrote to President Trump. I did not write to President Biden because I didn't need another generic letter from the White House. When I wrote to Obama, I was concerned about the legalities of drug use and the penalties that are imposed. That letter was mailed back in 2010 when Obama was fresh in office. 14 years later, marijuana is legalized, though the ones who had to pay for that crime get nothing but their freedom for any suffering they did for bad laws and legislation. The saddest part of the legalizing marijuana routine was that Kamala and Biden lost all of their brain cells smoking the hash. Oh well. Reagan lost his marbles too and he said No to drugs. It can happen to anyone.
The letter I wrote to Trump was a little different. Instead of worrying about the war on drugs or the punishments imposed on drug addicts (as if they're not already being punished by life) I was much more concerned about homelessness. I don't know why I thought a millionare turned politician would care about homelessness, but I gave it my best shot. Sadly, he was not in office long enough to do anything about it - And the Biden/Kamala train wreck just made homelessness even worse to the point where tent cities took over dozens of cities in California, Oregon, and Washington. Even here in Florida, the shelters are too full to take in anymore, and the sidewalks are graffitied by the likes of homeless people who had no where else to go. The police told me that "jail is not a homeless shelter"... Huh. Yeah? Well, then you need some more shelters because the few that remain keep turning people away including New York City, the once refuge for the world's homeless which now has a "No Trespassing" sign on the Statue of Liberty. Pathetic.
Dear Future President, I won't burden you with the numbers of drug-influenced deaths, or the numbers of American people who still don't have a home of their own, but I think you ought to know that while the minimum wage was raised, the unemployment numbers went up. So did the rent and the gas prices, and the numbers of foreigners sleeping at the border still trying to get into this land of "milk and honey" --- Home of the free? Home of the brave? Where? The soup kitchen? The brutal police who have guns? I don't see anywhere else you can call us free and brave. Americans are such cowards now they can't handle a profane word or the lighting of a cigarette. They're such liars and thieves now they'll brag about selling you a snowball for $10. They'll take pride in the fact that they were able to sell that. This is what we've become and it's not because I didn't write to the Presidents. It's because our leadership has been more pathetic and ineffectual than the homeless people smoking a cigarette on the sidewalk.
Dear Future President, I really really don't care about the Ukraine. I don't care about Israel. I don't care about Jamaica. I don't care about Russia. I don't care about Switzerland. I care about America, the 50 states of the United States of America, and Puerto Rico. I care more about Canada and Mexico than I do about England or Africa. What do those other nations really care about US? While we spend billions in aid to help countries all over the globe, what have they done for us? When? How much? Can we get a comparison pie chart please? When did all of these other countries donate to help our businesses when they were claiming bankcruptcy? When did all of these other countries donate to our country when our American homeowners were being foreclosed on? Or when an American got sick, lost his job, and couldn't pay his rent? Was it a Russian serving the soup at the soup kitchen? A Ukrainian? A Jamaican? No, I didn't see them there. It was just good helpful Americans helping other Americans. So please spare us the sob stories about other countries.
Please please please Future President can you do anything about how completely stupid America has become? Can you stop the telemarketers from blowing up my phone? I've told them countless times to take me off their call list but they refuse to do so? I thought that was illegal? Can you stop the thieves who are putting Target and Walmart out of business? Those stores employ a lot of people. Can you support the banks and make mortgages more possible so that maybe some of us who put our money there might get some interest on a savings account? Can you support education so that maybe people can do some basic math without an Iphone or a calculator? I hope you can do that for US future President. I hope you can teach Americans the value of having a job, and the honor and responsibility of being a good landlord, and the instrinsic rewards of being a volunteer at a soup kitchen. I hope you can teach Americans that the Constitution is the bloodline of this country and should not be tampered with. I hope that you can teach some of these Holy Rollers to shut their mouths at the abortion clinic when they don't know every person's story and they don't have any solutions to those problems. Preaching is not a problem solver.
Dear Future President, I hope you're ready for all of this. I hope you don't just get in office and start screaming like a lunatic and getting the already messed up Americans all frantic and crazy so that they go suicide bombing a hospital for medical malpractice. Maybe you could get some real lawyers instead of ambulance chasers. Maybe Harvard and Yale could produce lawyers with heart instead of greedy nincompoops. Maybe when someone gets hurt by a doctor, they actually could get some compensation instead of a bunch of cowards who don't want to rock the boat.
Don't worry if you can't handle all of this. I doubt anyone could.
