So here we are...literally in between the rock and a racist place. We just witnessed one of the greatest heavyweight bouts of white supremacy the world has ever seen and it did not disappoint. Donald Trump vs Joe Biden! Red vs. Blue! Bloods and Crips. Same ol shit.
If you're a fan of sports and competition like myself, you had to have enjoyed the pure drama of America's most popular beauty pageant, Election Night 2020, going into triple overtime. Even the way the night played out was poetic. Trump a heavy favorite in his mind boastfully declares Victory when Biden seemingly stumbling out of the blocks and like any premature ejaculation he ultimately made himself look foolish. As America slept those dedicated poll volunteers just kept counting. And we all woke up to a live dog. If you're a gambling man like myself and decided to make it interesting you maybe made yourself some lunch money.
Sidenote: Shoutout to Maryland finally getting their shit together about sports betting. Next let's add "for recreational use" to the marijuana.
So now that Joe Biden has defeated what many of us believe to be walking the embodiment of white privilege, American greed and bigotry in one orange bag of bones to become your new leader of the free world. Now what?
What's next Black man? What's next Black Woman?
Do we just wait for the stimulus checks and free healthcare to rain from the sky? Do we allow Uncle Joe to continue to tap dance around what needs to be done by his party to actually help our communities? Do we invite him back to the Breakfast Club and ask him to read Ice Cube's plan live on air and explain what parts he plans to implement? They did say wait til after the election right?
Let's not lose the irony of the man who wrote some of the very laws that destroyed many Black families and communities ultimately ending up needing those very same people to help him defeat the final boss of racism in this rigged game of American Politics. Detroit, Michigan and Milwaukee, Wisconsin are just a couple examples of very Black middle of America cities that can be said were ultimately the deciding factor in the win. So Uncle Joe better come to the fucking cookout with more to bring to the table than that tired ass green bean casserole. It's time for America to pay its restitution.

Do we keep and eye on the those people that proudly pledge allegiance to a losing flag in the name of hatred patriotism and make sure the sore losers ain't bout to start no shit?
Imagine what happens if Trump fires up his base to believe that he was cheated out of the election and turns this into a long drawn out process. Imagine all the hatred bubbling under that humbling, loser energy. I mean he has already threatened US military action toward US civilians if shit didn't shape up around the George Floyd demonstrations. Imagine if he doesn't tell all the Elmer Fudd's and Yosemite Sam's in those Red states to chill and hold this L with pride like they've been doing.
America has been here before. See the Civil War. White men arguing over the business of black bodies only 150 years ago. That's only a few grandma's back.
Of course we all hope for the best but are we prepared for the worst? If 2020 has shown us nothing else it has shown us that America is ready to consume itself from the inside out. And as they sit on Capitol Hill and figure out how to repair the American Dream, we better make sure that whatever the hell Black people NEED as a collective leg up is addressed and taken care of pretty early into Uncle Joe's reign.
