A Nightmare on Trump Street for Iran.
How will Trump be on The Islamic Republic?

So Trump will gain the keys to the White House on January 20. Followers of Trump in the US and around the world will be celebrating. Enemies of the resurrected tan man will be horrified inside the US and outside. There were many reasons for Trump's victory and Kamala's defeat. However, this article is not about what made Trump win and Kamala lose. Ms. Harris does have one thing on her side though, at 59 she can run again if chosen. Trump on the other hand at 78 spritely as he is agewise the clock is ticking.
So, in 2025 are we likely to the tan man start where he left off last time? What will his domestic policy be? What will his foreign policy be? Enemies and friends alike in the US and abroad wait to see what this unpredictable man has in store.
The US has elected a man still facing charges. Does he have immunity to all the charges levelled against him? Back in the Trump campaign had he been convicted he would be President behind bars. However, many of his so-called misdemeanours have been dropped or parked for now. Now, Trump can walk forward into next year knowing he remains free. Free from any charges (unless others pop up or old ones resurface) both in his life and politically speaking.
Trump has threatened to go after those who persecuted him. Will he put Biden in the dock on some charge just as he accused Biden of doing to him? Trump has even said that the "enemies within" (a term Hitler used) will have the military on their backs.
When it comes to foreign policy, especially in the Middle East or Western Asia what will he do? For Israel, and notably Prime Minister Netanyahu Trump's victory will be a Godsend. Arab nations will have a mixed reaction no doubt.
Iran may be facing its worst nightmare, however. The powers that be in Tehran, haven't reacted to the election of Trump. Iran's President said in a statement that Trump's victory "will change nothing". However, in reality, the regime will be worried. Trump was hard on them last time. Mr. Trump pulled out of the Iranian nuclear deal instituted by Obama. Iran was hit by hard sanctions from the US. Qasim Sulemani Head of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps or IRGC was assassinated. What followed was a missile strike by Iran on a US base in Iraq injuring military personnel. Just when things seemed to be escalating both sides backed off.
However, Iran's intelligence service marked Trump and Pompeo for death. Pompeo will be in Trump's cabinet so will this assassination plan still be operative? Could any of the assassination attempts on Trump's life recently have anything to do with the Islamic Republic?
The war between Israel, Iran, and its proxies is still raging. How will Trump handle this situation? Will he be different to Biden who has given Israel more or less carte blanche to do what it wants? Given Trump's last outing as President in dealing with Iran some think he will go even harder on Iran. For example, when Israel counter-attacked Iran it bombed military targets. Biden told Netanyahu not to bomb oil or nuclear installations. Would Trump have told Netanyahu to have hit those targets?
If this Middle East war is still raging when Trump takes office will he give Netanyahu what he wants? Or will he take a harder line on Netanyahu telling him now is the time to stop the war? Will he travel to Iran to talk peace with the regime as he has stated?
