The Mysterious origin of Bitcoin

"Wake up son! It's 7.00 A.M. already!"

Adam was used to wake up to these words of his father every day. His mother died due to AIDS when he was just 5 months old. His father loved him dearly. Adam however felt the need for mother's love every time he saw a child playing with his/her mother. Adam's father tried to fulfill every need of his, but mother's love is something different, as we all know it.

Adam was a child "Prodigy". He learned the art of Integration, differentiation and calculus at a very early age of only 7 years. His father encouraged Adam more and more to achieve great things by realizing and developing his full potential.

Adam had a best friend, named Tom, who himself was a brilliant student. They both bonded with each other very well and solved the problems of mathematics as well as life together. Adam and tom were almost inseparable till class 10th, when Tom got caught into a bad company. His name was Oscar, the so called bad boy of the school.

Oscar was a bully and occasionally sold drugs to student too! Tom, unfortunately got caught into this bad habit of taking drugs. He started to fail the tests. Adam tried hard to pull Tom out of this vicious circle, but all in vain. At last, after a year of futile struggle, their friendship ended.

This had a very disastrous effect on the mental health of Adam. At first, his mother died and now his best friend was gone too(Figuratively). He went into depression and his father had to take him to a psychiatrist. Dr. Sam was the best psychiatrist in town. When he started treatment of Adam, he thought that his mother and his best friend were the only reason behind his depression. But as the treatment progressed, he started to discover some very deep truths and reasons behind his depression.

Adam told him about the recurrent nightmares he use to have almost every night. And the content of those nightmares was more of less the same. In Adam's own words,

"It was a man killing a women brutally".

Dr. Sam asked Adam's father if he every told him something like that, to which his response was negative. Dr. Sam was confused and asked Adam,

"Why haven't you told your father about these Nightmares?"

To which Adam replied,

"My father already care about me so much and has a lot of responsibilities to fulfill. So, I don't want to bother him with more worries."

Dr. Sam gave some medicines to Adam and asked his father to strictly stick to the schedule and physical as well as mental exercises which he asked Adam to perform. Since Adam's father took him to Dr. Sam for regular follow check ups after that, a good amount of understanding developed between Adam and the doctor.

The treatment went on for 3 long years and Adam was now very stable. He was a 19 year old boy who now was aspiring to go to the college. But one day, he came to Dr. Sam's office, panting, and said this,

"Doc! I gotta tell you a thing!"

And Dr. Sam replied,

"Easy, son! Sit down first and catch a breath! Here, drink some water".

After drinking the water, Sam said,

"You know I told you about those nightmares, right?"

And Dr Sam said,

"Yes, I remember vividly".

And he replied,

"The man who is brutally killing that woman, who is actually my mother, is my father!"

Dr. Sam was shocked after listening to what he had to say after that. He told him this,

"Today, I was returning from my college when I saw my father talking to a man in front of a mart. I stopped and was about to approach him when I saw that he got into an SUV with that man. I was a bit suspicious and curious at the same time and hence I followed them. They stopped at a laboratory type building called "Herald". I somehow sneaked into the building and found a document stating that my mother had discovered a decentralized currency called BITCOIN in 1986 which would revolutionize the digital currency."

Then he continued,

"As I am very Good at computing, I found a master computer disabled all the security alert and read the documents contained within. There were some audio recordings too. The gist of all of them was that my father wanted to be a sellout in the hands of a big firm and wanted to have a contract of Bitcoin with them which would involve replacing my mother's name with the company's name as the inventor in exchange of money, but my mother wanted to keep her name and hence, declined the offer. I also found out an associate of my mother with the help of files in the computer and went to his house. He told me that my father killed my mother as she would not comply with the contract! He was and is utterly greedy. He kept quiet despite knowing all this as he feared for his life. However, that company never was able to name BITCOIN after it as my mother foresaw the intentions of my father and was partially able to destroy the entire process of bitcoin formation. They have been trying to restore it ever since! My mom did not die of AIDS, doc!"

And then he cried a lot. Dr. Sam consoled him and asked him to go to the police with the documents. Adam, however never gave the documents to the police as he wanted to restore the work of his mother. He worked in a separate isolated location which his father was unaware of. He was also researching as to why he was the one who was getting those nightmares. The answer to that still remains unknown. He also has plans to hand over his father to the police after he had sorted out everything he set out for.

After a year of dedicated efforts Adam, in 2008, restored the lost invention of his mother and gave a pseudonym to himself based on the first letter of important events that happened in his life in chronological order,

Sarah death(His mother's name).

Adam(himself).

Tom's best friendship.

Oscar, the bully(who degraded Tom).

Sam(the doctor).

Herald (Laboratory where his mother worked).

I love you mom(Words he always wanted to say).

That makes the word SATOSHI. And NAKAMOTO was the surname of his mother's associate, Mr, Dan Nakamoto.

This is the mystery behind this pseudonym, which is indeed a trauma inducing story.
