Growth and Innovation at What Price?
Bitcoin, a form of currency as wondrous as its creator. The creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, reinvented currency as we know it and then just disappeared into the night, never to be seen. It makes me wonder, what happened to Satoshi? Rumor has it, she is in the middle of the forest with the best security possible and as off grid as she possibly can be. And, that’s right, I said she. As a woman who has experienced working in male-dominated industries, I prefer to think that a woman broke barriers without needing the notoriety.

Genesis Block Zero
Satoshi Nakamoto was never looking to get rich, he did however intend to live forever. Indeed, his formal scheme to ensure the downfall of physical currency, and prevent the future enslavement of the human race was cunning... but that was just part of the plan. Like grains of sand in an hourglass, his mind was already uploading itself to the network. His shaved scalp pulsating, where the team of neurosurgeons had implanted the tubature connecting his brain electronically to the rows of servers, that sat humming behind his reclined stretcher bed- this would be his new domain. Upon completion of the digital duplication of his consciousness, he would become completely sentient inside the network of machines around him. The densest portion of his self image would take shape, without all of the flaws of the human corporeal condition. He would be the first transhumanist to achieve complete digitization. This of course, was assuming that human beings did not have souls.

Pizza Money
My life is pretty great. My husband and I both teach in a very challenged school district and enjoy making a difference in the lives of our students. We drive nice vehicles; our home in San Francisco is paid for; we have a vacation home in Cocoa Beach; and we don’t have to worry about the size of our paychecks. When I’m asked how we can afford all this on a teacher’s salary, my standard answer is “I made a lucky investment in college.”

Hi Bitcoin, kindly hand this message to your creator. Thank you for your recent letter. I am lonely back here, and aware that I bate this “mystery” with an unusual awkward angle. I apologize in advance for any offense and my heart is already filled with sorrow. I hope that my words will be well received as there is a tiny window in my house from where I can share glimpses of how my land is intertwined with your mystery. I like it when things are mystic for it allows a space to play around with specific details, stretch the ones where we hold a string, and decide whether to leave a door closed or shine a specific light on a peculiar aspect.

In a desperate attempt to control the inevitable collapse of entire economies, as well as ways to advance their technologies, world leaders came together to figure out a solution to the ever growing problems that we're faced with, cryptocurrencies. With the current situation being that each country has its own currency, constantly fluctuating, there needs to be a system of currency that connects everyone on a global level. That way if an entire country fell into an economic collapse, they had some sort of global economy to fall back on besides silver and gold. Truly a brilliant idea, and with no know creator this keep speculation and panic to a minimum, because if the masses found out it was created by our governments, we would surely fall into chaos.

Since it was established in 2009, Bitcoin has encountered major highs and lows. In both its prominence and availability, Bitcoin has expeditiously evolved as an online payment mechanism. It is inconceivable and beyond belief that one who has created such a universal innovation remains entirely anonymous. Can such an extravagant, leading universal invention be created and yet the enigmatic inventor’s true identity remains entirely unidentified? Who could have established Bitcoin? Was it set up by one person? And who is Satoshi Nakamoto?

Bitcoin has recently become widely attractive to investors, companies, and every day citizens alike. Millions of people are taking a second look at the first decentralized cryptocurrency. Just as many people have been helping the value of a bitcoin soar to unprecedented and staggering highs. Once traded at less than a single penny, it is currently being bought at nearly $48,000. The creator of this open source code with the first blockchain must have made an unfathomable and obscene of money, right? Believe it or not, the first million bitcoin they mined have been untouched in multiple bitcoin wallets. They introduced their white paper on Halloween day of 2009. Easily described as all bit and no coin, bitcoin did not materialize out of thin air as it may seem.
