Blockchain Games You Need to Check Out
VGAMER - New Blockchain Game

We all have one big regret in life. No, I'm not talking about the love of our lives, I mean that one big investment we missed at the time and I wish we were getting into it. For me, the biggest regret about my investment was that I rejected Bitcoin not just once, but again and again over the years… "Oh!"
I first heard about Bitcoin from my friend in 2009 when Bitcoin was brand new, and I could purchase a handful of them for just dollars and be a multi-millionaire by now. I thought Bitcoin sounded dumb and that the concept was ridiculous. Fast forward to 2014 when I was a financial advisor and bitcoin was below 1k, it kept popping up on my radar and in my social circles and I still thought it sounded dumb and could not understand why anyone would spend almost a thousand on digital money for no purpose. I thought it was something that might not rise in value anymore, and never compete with banks that would wipe out bitcoin if it ever became a threat. How young and innocent I was, brainwashed by the banking system and thought the 0.2% interest I earned from my bank was a pretty good deal.
Move forward a few more years and here I am All In, writing for Bitgo, believing that Bitcoin and decentralization are the keys to a better future.
Most of us have not only one financial regret but also want to keep an eye on the next big thing and not repeat the same mistake. Can blockchain games provide the next opportunity?
Trends in crypto
First, it was Bitcoin that drove the world crazy when it posted a profit of 3,200% in 3 months in 2011, leaving traditional investors stunned as they got used to the 7-12% return on investment in the year they received (which is considered a good year). Then in 2017, it's time for Atrium to shine, to shamefully dump those bitcoin profits, and a huge profit of 10,000% a year. Unless you lived in a cave, you have no doubt noticed the massive explosive trend when 2021 is undoubtedly the year of NFTs. According to a Reuters report, the NFT market soared to almost nothing by the end of 2020, as no one even knew what the hell NFTs were, then reached a staggering $ 10.7 billion
NFTs have reached the level of mainstream adoption faster than any other asset type in history, with celebrities and famous athletes like Tom Brady, Jay-Z, Tony Hawk, Eminem and Paris Hilton getting entangled along with Snoop Dogg whose not only his NFTs are sold in Crypto. com but revealed that he himself is actually a giant NFT whale with his own collection that has been reported to be worth more than $ 17 million. NFTs are even doomed in traditional financial advertising articles and featured on Sattery Night Live all in less than a year, and it looks like 2022 could be the year of blockchain and meta-games, as they are already taking off in late 2021.
Blockchain games are already showing us what they can do.
We have already tasted the power and potential that blockchain games projects have to offer. One should not look further than tokens like Axie Infinity whose AXS token jumped by 71,900% in one year. Axie Infinity turned many of the first crypto investors into millionaires in less than a year because they managed to turn several hundred dollars into total capital.
AXIE is not the only game that yields huge returns, it's not just luck or something "one-off", as we see in various games like Cryptoblades, another very popular blockchain game.
The price enjoyed the excellent launch that went up from $ 1 to $ 160 in less than a month before the price crashed back abruptly, with capital being quickly gained and lost quickly.
Blockchain games are still a very new industry, with many of these most popular games being adopted at an unimaginably fast pace and revolutionizing the world with their gaming model to generate profits.
Most of the blockchain games that take advantage of the game to win use the play for profit model and NFT was created in 2021 and this industry is less than a year old.
This means that this industry has much more to give, mature and develop, with many analysts believing that blockchain games are a trend that is here to stay and will fundamentally change the future of the gaming and meta-industry.
Blockchain gaming projects - potential
Now that the blockchain games are just in their infancy, here are projects that I think are worth keeping an eye on - of course this is not investment advice, and you should do your own research instead of listening to some stranger writing articles online, but I think these are some of the games and projects I follow closely to Strengthen my investment portfolio.
AXIE INFINITY
I know, you're probably tired of hearing about this game because it's made headlines online with its meteoric rise in popularity, when people are already making life-changing wealth. And as a shrewd investor, you might also think I must be crazy to offer something that has already gone up more than 70,000% of returns just this year but, while it's true that Axie Infinity is a bull run, it's definitely a game I'm going to look at to get involved in next market fix.
