1. In truth, I find contentment; at least I know your name, have heard your voice, and seen your eyes. Is that not a stroke of luck, even amidst my sorrow?

2. The cupping therapist always claims I am burdened by dampness, while the beautician insists I lack moisture, much like those who do not love you are eternally quick to criticize your every flaw.

3. When hungry, eat; when weary, sleep; when injured, seek a doctor; when in pain, endure it. Walk your own path, and dry your tears in silence, for there is no one who will truly empathize with your struggles.

4. Some find themselves lonely simply because they have yet to meet another, while others remain isolated, unable to let go of someone they’ve lost.

5. In time, I came to understand that some truths are better left unspoken. Much like holding a cup of hot water; even when parched, if it burns the hands, we set it down.

6. The greatest agony of losing someone does not lie in the initial wave of grief, but in those moments when time seems to heal only for their memory to resurface unexpectedly, haunting us like an unwelcome ghost.

7. If only I could turn back time, I would choose to remain a stranger to you—not out of regret, but because I cannot bear the weight of our present ending.

8. In the end, I am neither Sun Wukong nor Zhi Zun Bao, but merely one of those gazing up from the city walls, watching others’ love stories while chewing on my fleeting youth.

9. Drink until you are pleasantly buzzed, eat until you are comfortably full, love just enough to feel alive, yet so many often find themselves intoxicated, overstuffed, and foolishly lost in love.

10. Eventually, I realized that it is indeed possible for two people to mutually care for one another, to linger on each other’s minds, to remain unforgettable, yet never come together.

11. He understands your hints, comprehends your subtext, yet remains unmoved—not out of a battle of wits, but simply because he does not share your affection.

12. There are no seekers of light upon Anhe Bridge, no gentle havens in fairy tale towns, no solitary whales by the shores of Lake Baikal; my world, too, shall no longer include you.

13. Aside from the partings of life and death, the essence of all separations is ultimately a lack of affection. Thus, it is not worth lamenting—it is merely that simple.

14. Within every jest, there lies a kernel of sincerity, and those responses that seem to miss the point are perhaps the gentlest of refusals.

15. Melting ice cream, descending suns, hopeful expectations that lead to disappointment, rainy summers, sleepless nights, and the you who is no longer here—these are the transient threads of my reality.

16. As those around me increasingly tie the knot, it feels much like the moment during exams when others hurriedly submit their papers while I am left feeling a wave of panic.

17. Have you ever encountered someone you knew would lead to no lasting outcome, yet felt an irresistible urge to grasp their hand, eager to accompany them down a shared path?

18. In real life, unlike in the movies, no one waits four or five years for you. In essence, without contact, feelings simply fade away.

19. What is the cheapest thing in the world? After some reflection, it strikes me as giving—an empty-hearted devotion and a gentle kindness that accomplishes little.

20. Should there come a day when you can no longer find me, please do not mourn; it is not that I have ceased to love you or that you have overlooked me. It is simply that I finally found the courage to leave. But remember, before I went, I truly waited foolishly for you.

21. Those who are nostalgic are often easily wounded, clinging to the hope of one day hearing the words "I wish you well." Yet, while you dwell on your past, how long can they truly remember you?

22. Was there ever a moment when you felt sorrow for my persistence, understood my humility, or saw through my helplessness? Was there ever a fleeting thought of walking into eternity with me?

23. The modern breakdown comes silently, presenting a façade of normalcy—laughing, joking, socializing—while inside, the heartache mounts to a breaking point. There are no dramatic displays of rage or tears, no hysterics. Yet, at any given moment, the weight may become unbearable, and in that silence, there lies a reluctance to live while simultaneously a fear of death.
