Things I Overheard This Year
As we were riding down the road, having just picked up an older friend. He said, "Lots of bear sightings recently. I can't shoot them, but I am carrying a side arm. I have saved my pheasants once and chickens another time." There I am sitting in the back seat bear clan.

The purpose of pain: An Introduction.
I was lying on my bed one night unable to sleep. I was tossing and turning, my mind working in overdrive with all the racing thoughts and my heart overfilled with emotions at 3 am, an infamously vulnerable and emotionally charged time of the night. I was contemplating life and all its trepidations when a very disturbing yet intriguing question arose in my mind; why am I always in pain? Now, I always try to make the most of things and live life to its fullest. And I do it while being good and considerate of other’s feelings. I try to be a good friend, son, brother and in some cases a role model. Then why do I have this crippling depression and paralyzing anxiety every moment I breathe. Why am I in such agonizing pain in every conscious moment of my existence.

Solace and Dread At The Taco Bell
Four days prior to my 27th birthday, I ate Taco Bell for the first time in my life. When asked why I would put my ass through that (which, it wasn’t even bad or anything, I’ve definitely incurred worse damage from some good curry), I would chirp some inane comment akin to “just trying something new!” But I was trying for a piece of freedom. The decision to eat Taco Bell was oddly dramatic– a floundering attempt at inner reflection, and then a comeuppance with reality. A deep dive of the psyche using a tostada shell to keep the small discoveries together.

External Issues That Will Ruin Your Way of Life
Do you realize that I have a daily calendar? If you feel lonely while you're by yourself, you're in awful company. There is still one day, and every day is a new day. We receive it in the morning, and it is taken away from us in the evening. A guy is doomed to be free because he is accountable for all he does after leaving his home. It is up to you to give (life) meaning.

The fear of vulnerability . Top Story - April 2023.
We all know what vulnerability is, right? Hopefully everyone has been able to experience vulnerability at some point in their lives. At the very least, I hope everyone has a vague sense of what vulnerability looks like. But how does one explain what true vulnerability looks like in today's society? Better yet, why is being vulnerable becoming so damn difficult?

What It's Like To Not Have A Voice
It's hard for a survivor witness those who do our significant others wrong. Makes us feel like we have no voice left. We begin to think and feel like are we really survivors? Don't you dare say anything, I feel like our voices are taken from us just woman but a man's to.
