Spiritual Spring Clean
Every year, as the months get warmer and the days get longer, the yearning to rid myself of all manner of clutter surges within me. Usually this would mean yanking all my crumpled clothes out of the cupboard, and tossing out that Reading Festival '07 t-shirt that's just been moth fodder for the past decade or so. This year, however, my spring clean is a little more spiritual, rather than simply physical.

All That Matters
Jeannie sat down at her desk in the middle of the tiny nursery and began to write the letter. The nursery was not fancy, but it held all the conveniences that a baby growing into a toddler would need. Jeannine's brother, Anthony, had painted a mural beside the crib–the moon and the stars in a night sky and when you turned the lights off, the glow in the dark paint cast the room in a celestial glow. The mobile, the stars and moon, hummed softly in the background and created a peace that rivalled the chaos that was constantly filling her mind.

I have a condition that the world, by and large, thinks is a joke. If you've seen As Good As It Gets, you probably had a good laugh at Melvin Udall skipping over cracks on the way to the cafe he goes to every day, to sit in the same spot, to order the same egg-and-bacon breakfast from the same waitress, whose son's medical bills he footed so that she could be there to serve him.

Rules To My Life.. Top Story - March 2021.
I have suffered from depression for a little more than half of my life. It is a rough road to living and being satisfied when dealing with depression. Throw in a little obsessive-compulsive disorder and you really have a recipe for some fun thought and behavioral patterns. I require a set of rules to keep myself above water. Through the creation of these 'life rules,' I have made it easier to enjoy my life. Let's just get right down to it;
