It's Time For You To Accept The Money You Want

Law of Attraction

Money Magnet

No matter what you're doing, you always have a choice: to bring love and a positive attitude into every situation or to let negativity drag you down. If you find yourself in an uncomfortable situation, look within and ask, "What lesson can I learn from this?" Every experience, good or bad, has something valuable to teach you.

One woman shared with me how her belief system allowed money to flow to her effortlessly from unexpected sources. Yet, her friends criticized her ability to draw wealth without hard work, insisting that money must be earned through struggle. As a result, she began to fear that she didn’t deserve the money she had because she wasn’t "working hard enough." However, her consciousness was on the right path from the start. Instead of succumbing to fear, she needed to recognize her power to manifest abundance and be grateful for it.

People may try to pull you down when they see you thriving in ways they don’t understand or cannot achieve themselves. In such cases, remember to protect your peace. If others try to drag you down, let them go. Surround yourself with those who genuinely want to grow and succeed alongside you.

Ignore the Negativity Around You

Often, the people who try to tell us how to live are the ones who have not succeeded themselves. If your life is filled with love, joy, and abundance, don't listen to those who are miserable or in debt telling you how to run your life. Many of these people, including well-meaning parents, come from a place of burden and hardship, projecting their fears onto you.

People frequently worry about the economy and believe their financial fate is tied to its fluctuations. But the economy is always moving up and down. What matters is not the external world but what you believe about yourself. If you fear becoming homeless, ask yourself, "Where am I not at home within myself? Where do I feel abandoned? What do I need to feel inner peace?" Remember, all outer experiences reflect inner beliefs.

The Power of Positive Affirmations

To shift your consciousness towards prosperity, try using affirmations like, “My income is constantly increasing” or “I go beyond my parents' income level.” It’s not only your right to earn more than your parents did—it’s almost a necessity given today’s costs. Women, in particular, often struggle with the belief that they shouldn’t earn more than their fathers. But to attract abundance, it is essential to move beyond feelings of unworthiness and embrace the financial prosperity that is your divine right.

Your job is just one of the many channels through which money can flow to you. Money is not the object of your right work; it can come to you in countless ways. Accept it with joy, regardless of how it arrives, and see it as a gift from the universe.

Redefining Relationships at Work

The relationships you create at work are similar to the ones you have with your family—they can be healthy or dysfunctional. A woman once asked me, "How do I deal with people in a work environment who are constantly negative when I am usually positive?" I found it interesting that she was surrounded by negativity despite considering herself positive. I suggested she examine what negativity might exist within her, even if it was not immediately obvious.

Instead of complaining about others, she could affirm that she always works in a peaceful, joyful environment where people appreciate each other and life as a whole. By changing her inner belief system, she could either help bring out the best in her colleagues or find herself in a different workplace that aligns with her positive affirmations.

Healing from Old Patterns

Sometimes, negative patterns in the workplace stem from deeper, unresolved personal issues. One man found himself making mistakes daily at work, despite being competent and efficient in the past. When I asked him what he was afraid of, he realized that it was an old childhood fear resurfacing. As a child, he was ridiculed for mistakes, and this old pattern was replaying in his professional life. I suggested he forgive his family and affirm harmonious relationships at work, where people respect and appreciate him.

When you think of your co-workers, focus on their positive qualities rather than their flaws. Respond to their kindness, respect, and other virtues instead of focusing on negativity. When you change your consciousness, negative people will either transform or disappear from your life.

Breaking Free from Self-Sabotage

One woman had an opportunity to do what she loved at work but found herself constantly getting sick and sabotaging her success. She realized that as a child, getting sick was how she received love and attention. As an adult, she was recreating this pattern to feel loved. To break free, she needed to learn how to receive love and affection positively. By nurturing her inner child and learning to feel safe, she could reclaim her power and stop self-sabotaging.

Stop Comparing and Start Creating

Comparison and competition are major obstacles to creativity. Your uniqueness sets you apart from everyone else—there has never been another person like you since time began. When you compare yourself to others, it either makes you feel superior or inferior, both of which stem from a limited mindset. To become enlightened, you must look within, shine a light on your own insecurities, and dissolve them.

Remember, everything changes. What was once perfect for you may no longer be so. To continue growing, keep going within and listening to what is right for you now.

Changing the Way We Do Business

At my company, Hay House, we chose to run our business differently. Instead of operating on competition and greed, we built our company on spiritual principles, using affirmations to open and close meetings. We wanted to foster a culture of respect and harmony, not cutthroat tactics. We even had a soundproof room where employees could release stress, meditate, or relax.

When we encountered issues with our computer systems, I realized that our negative attitudes toward the machines were affecting their performance. We programmed an affirmation into the computers: “Good morning, how are you today? I work well when I am loved, and I love you.” After this, our problems ceased, proving that even machines reflect our consciousness.

Embracing Challenges as Learning Opportunities

Sometimes, what appears to be a disaster is actually a life experience that teaches us something valuable. For example, when Hay House was struggling financially, I had to make difficult decisions, including letting go of over half my staff. Though it was a painful process, I trusted that my employees would find new opportunities, and most of them did.

Throughout this challenging period, I affirmed that this experience would turn out for the highest good of all. Despite rumors that we were going out of business, we persevered, tightened our belts, and emerged stronger than ever. Today, Hay House is thriving, our staff is happier, and we are achieving greater success than before.

Seeing the Bigger Picture

Think of a negative experience you’ve had, whether it’s losing a job, going through a breakup, or facing another challenge. Now, look beyond it and consider the bigger picture. Didn’t many good things happen as a result of that experience? Often, what seems like a setback is actually a stepping stone to something greater.

By trusting in divine intelligence and allowing ourselves to experience life fully, we empower ourselves to enjoy everything that life has to offer—the good and the bad. Try applying this perspective to your work and personal experiences and notice the changes that unfold.

Remember, you have the choice to shape your life with love, positivity, and abundance. Choose wisely and watch as life responds in kind.
