Intuition and how to use it.
How to harness you intuition by Breezy Quietstride.

Intuition is an amazing thing that generally leaves people baffled! We love it when it works. We marvel at how things come together when we listen to the whispered voice that tells us to defy our logic!
There are people who wield their intuition with seeming unbridled skill with no idea how they do it or how/why it works!
Others who rely most heavely on reason and logic. Even they will ask in amazement "how did you know that"?
We like to think it is, like all that we come across, a thing we can learn to harness and control. We are wrong!
So what's the secret? It is simplicity itself. One does NOT second guess oneself. Yes, we plot and scheme and plan but when it comes down to it, we've got to follow our gut instincts with a total "f'k it" attitude. "I'm doin this and this! And if I'm wrong I'll deal with it later"! That's it. That's all.
Follow the signs with out deciphering them, follow whatever pops into our head at the moment and so on.
We tend to over think EVERYTHING! This process of overthinking is what works AGAINST our intuitive nature.
If we REALLY want to understand our intuition and harness it the imperative is STOP TRYING!! Intuition is choatic NOT orderly! It comes randomly, yet constantly! It is that flash of insight you get from a random turn of the page in a magazine, that feeling you suddenly have to go left instead of right. That instant when, although deep in thought, you jerk your head up to look in a store window and see, in that window, something you've been hunting for. It's that knawing feeling that something isn't right.
A few days ago I was parked at the back end of a truck stop parking lot. I had decided to go to the pumps to get fuel before leaving. There were two ways I could go. The long way took me around the building and would've had me at pumps that were pointing in the opposite direction I was headed. The other would be shorter and pointing in the desired direction I intended to go after fuelling up. Intuition said go around the building the long way. Logic said to take the shorter course.
I chose logic over intuition and found all of the pumps I could use were occupied. Needless to say I ended up having to back up and go around the building after all. Since I couldn't see the pumps from my lacarion there didn't seem to be any REASON, that I could logically fathom, to take the longer route! Yet had I not relied on logic I would've slid into an open pump, not had the incinvenience of either waiting for a spot to open or going around the building (which is what Idid) and I would've left a little bit sooner than I ended up leaving.
Thats an example of not following my gut or intuition.
In another example, I was driving through a town looking for a destination I'd been to before but not from the direction that I approached on this occasion. I came to an intersection. I knew I was close to my destination but wasn't clear as to which way to go.
I trusted my gut! I didn't question I just let my hands turn the wheel and viola! I soon pulled into my destination as if I knew what I was doing along! Amazing!!
So, in conclusion, if you want to master your intuition, STOP trying to! Just go with it! ESPECIALLY when the reasoning seems to defy logic.
