Maybe you’ve heard every celebrity and successful person you know of talking about the very same formula. (If not - start with Jim Carey and the story about him asking for a hike as a kid. Then look up Helen Hadsell. Then perhaps J-Lo, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Anniston… they all openly discuss this. Athletes, Olympic medalists and their trainers… the list is endless.

I love us. Can you see it? The fierce empathy, ardent compassion, and profound commitment I feel for all of us fill me when other people and things can't–or won't. I sacrifice enthusiastically because I know the connections, jobs, or family I lose for being my authentic self not only prepares the way for an improved quality of life for me but allows me to be present for those who need queer community and representation. I'm better when I'm honest with myself and others about who I am.

Through Time and Life, There will Always be Songs that Scream Pride
One thing about the LGBTQ+ community, they're able to bring pride to many different art forms; may it be through painting, literature, cinema, or even music.
