IT ALL SPRINGS FROM YOUR HEART

Your heart, your heart

It all springs from your heart

The words you speak

The songs you sing

It all springs from your heart

And weather they be dark or fair

Or full of joy or sorrows deep

How they impact the ears that hear

It all springs from your heart

The steps you take

The moves you make

It all springs from your heart

To trudge uphill

Or roll downhill

It all springs from your heart

To face the battles of life headon

Or squirm in fear and run and hide

The strength or lack of strength thereof

It all springs from your heart

Do you see the storm

As a friend or foe

It depends on your heart

Will you give up

Or keep going

It depends on your heart

So guard your heart and keep it safe

Do not allow it bow to fear

With nourishment you can help it thrive

Your life depends on it

The words you hear

They go straight to your hears

The words you read

They go straight to your heart

They go to either nourish it

Or weaken it and make it fail

It all depends on what you eat

With your ears and your eyes

The sights you see

They go straight to your heart

The things you think

They marinate your heart

To feed your heart and make it strong

Is a duty only you can do

It is up to you and you alone

And it all springs from your heart
