Day 54/365

By Ellie HoovsPublished 11 months ago Updated 11 months ago 1 min read

Who were you?

Why were you here?

Were you just passing through

or is this your home town?

Did you scrawl your name here

in desperation

to leave your mark somewhere,

anywhere?

Were you just longing to be

seen?

or heard?

or loved?

Was this a single simple act

of rebellion

by a goody two shoes

who wanted to feel

villainous,

if only for a moment.

All that I truly know

is that you were here

and so am I.
