Writing my Life on Sticky Notes

Writing my life on sticky notes

so no one would piece them together

to know inside I'm a bundle of shards

kept whole by the zipper of my sweater

If only they know when they're patting my shoulder

their cutting sharp edges into my skin

Where pain explodes in fiery balls

where comfort should have been

If only they know every time I rise

Something inside me is bound to collapse

and if I dare to reach the summit

into only to start a new relapse.

If they'd only piece the sticky notes

to know inside I'm breaking through

but the only reason I still dare to write

is because I know no one will do
