Emptiness fills every orifice of my hollow mind
Clenching a pen and staring down at my paper
Lapses of time pass by like fleeting memories
It seems impossible that I ever had any ideas at all, or that I ever
Put anything worthwhile to paper in my life
Separation between brain and mind and heart
Eats me alive, and I end up writing nothing at all

What do you guys do to inspire you during times when writer’s block hits you hard? I’ve been struggling with it quite a bit this past week. It’s the absolute worst, isn’t it?

I don't ever worry about a "block." Sometimes my soul just needs a rest, or my body just needs to do something different, like gardening. Inspiration comes when it comes. Until then, do challenges and prompts :) Nice eclipse one
I only write when I have the urge to. That way, it's easier to get the words flowing. I agree with Heather below. Don't force yourself to write. Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️
Great entry! If you're having blocks, don't try to force anything. Give yourself some time by doing other things you enjoy. At least that's what I do. 😊
