While I Live

Celebrate Now

While I live give me my roses, I want to smell them now that I can see;

Don't wait too late where they are put over my grave for your memories;

While I live, remind me of the laughs and cries that we had while it lasts:

I don't want to be a sad memory of living in the past;

I want to have dinner with you and watch a movie;

Tell me how you feel even if I don't agree;

Let me know what I mean to you in this life;

Don't make a big scene with lots of regrets and loud cries;

Celebrate me with true words, kind words, and love me with your deeds;

I don't want silent love to put your mind at ease;

Don't speak poorly of me when I have wronged you in anyway;

Come to me with boldness not coldness and tell me my sins against you I pray;

HONOR is due to all by whom it is earned;

Please lift me up when my heart has been broken, to show your concern;

Laugh with me not at me and I will do it for you, no greeting cards;

That didn't come from your heart;

They're just words on a piece of paper;

It's better to share your love now instead of waiting later;

Give me my hugs, flowers, candy, and everyday's gift;

Of letting me know you still care about me while I live.
