When Married Men Look Good?

When they behave like safe harbor

I'm married for long years.

I’ve experienced,

the roller coaster,

of marriage dynamics,

So, I truly respect,

those married men

who are kind,

to their wives.

Unfortunately,

that’s not often the case.

Yes,

some treat their wives,

very well,

but a lot play foul.

They target the women

for not being,

beautiful enough,

for not contributing,

to the family earning,

or for not giving birth,

to a son.

These are the top three,

of the endless reasons.

As if,

by being called,

the "better half,"

she must,

have to be one.

Married man,

you might think

she has to be,

presentable trophy wife

to make you look good.

But you don’t look,

nice that way.

It seems

you just got lucky,

or took advantage of her.

You’re enjoying hypergamy,

for her, it’s hypogamy,

she feels exploited.

You look respectable,

a real gentleman,

when you make her,

feel safe like a harbor,

when you,

don’t stifle her voice,

don't control her choice,

and when you,

protect her dignity.

This is one of the reasons that I don't believe in marriage and don't wanna get married. Marriage guarantees nothing. People can change or leave or cheat. I'm not saying there's no good men or women out there. But I'm saying that it's a gamble. And I don't wanna gamble with my life in that way
