Night in the Garden

I enjoy the solitude and peace

By Seema PatelPublished 6 months ago 1 min read
Night in the garden @Seema

In the noche,

under the luna and estrellas,

surrounded by oscuridad,

I like to sit solo,

in my jardín.

The soledad is pacífico,

I listen to grillos

and smell jazmines.

My ánimo feels better,

luchas feel smaller.

It’s my refugio,

in this mundo ruidoso

on this tierra,

my personal paraíso.

English Translation:

At night, under the moon and stars, surrounded by darkness, I like to sit alone in my garden. The solitude is peaceful. I listen to crickets and smell jasmine. My spirit feels better, struggles feel smaller. It’s my refuge, in this noisy world, on this earth, my personal paradise.

Note: It's an English-Spanish bilingual poem.
