When I’m feeling blue in Philly…
Look up
Revere and relish in the life’s work
Centuries old of persons
Who so loved and cared
Know one can only see
muddled muck, remnants left to the wayside
with eyes cast upon the shadowy ground
Look up
Please do notice how the bright light limns
off the gold glass and reflects,
connects playfully
Please know one cannot see
the fragments, pieces of love letters left
If only you could reorient your eyes
Look up
Breathe in the vast mystery
that silently waits for you
the bright breadth of the universe
the color of the open royal sky
