When Granny Met Rudy

Way To Go Cathy Holmes. My “Rudolf Rendition”

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Rudy the red nosed wino

Wiped his nose on grandma’s scarf

And by the time she saw it

It touched her lip and that was gross

All of the other winos

Began to laugh, until they barfed

They’d never seen ol granny

lick the snot from someone’s else

Then the Santa ringing bells

Cleared his throat to say

Come on guys, what’s wrong with you

Get a Kleenex for her snoot

Then all the winos stepped up

Offered her each of their sleeves

Granny wiped off the goober, and for hours all she smelled was pee

I didn't see that coming. A nice variation from your other poetry.
