Enchanted Adventures
And The Moon

A streak of luck and pure imagination
Sparks heroes dreams and wonder lust
He traipsed along the constellations
Where creation itself was conjured up
Like Peter’s never land, pursuing beauty
Adventure called and asked him to play
The lonely moon, dappled and broody
Enchanted the boy in bright midnight rays
He gathered a rope and lassoed a comet
He rode its tail like wild dragon wings
It spoke to him in words of a sonnet
Inspired by angels, he began to sing
Swinging neath the stars, awaiting the sunrise
He sent wishes out on shooting stars
He tackled his fear and tamed the illusion
The moon held a secret, hidden in sky
He conquered the galaxy, fueling the vision
The friendship between them allowed him to fly

Well-wrought! When I was a boy, I would lay in a hammock beneath the full moon, and feel as if its rays reached out to me, and I would reach out to them. Though my hands remained empty, I nevertheless felt as if I caught the lunar light like kisses from the Great Mother. This reminded me of those tranquil moments. Thank you!
